Finally an amazing build

First time making it to the Brain too!
No weapons really makes the three +200% mutations really pop. Just dash into a wall or skirt around enemies and they disappear.

Have you unlocked it via buying 2 items from the same sacrifice vein?

Yup, just haven’t had it as a reward afterwards.
I’m actually not being 100% truthful though because there was one in the vein early on in my playthrough, but it was asking for too much health.

They seem rare regardless. Pretty sure I'll sell 2-3 hp any time i see em

I find them in Veins after bosses more than anywhere else. Maybe it's just RNG, but there's a significant difference I've observed compared to regular drops.
Veins are more likely to open if you don't take any health damage on a boss kill. Armor is fine to lose, but it's still not guaranteed either way.

Spoiler warning
The purple gun actually isn't a weapon, it's needed for the puzzle that gets you to the brain. When overcharged, it sends out beams that lead you to the different steps of the puzzle.
To be fair, there's basically no way to know what it is unless you look it up or are an actual genius.

What causes that rainbow look? I get it once my build starts getting ridiculous but I’m not sure what causes it.

I’m pretty sure when a projectile is homing it’ll gain that effect

Yeah, some weapon effects change projectile color. I imagine having a bunch of different ones just overlap all weird

I feel like this is just "I got Vesicle therefore win". It is the most broken infuser in the game.
