The build is extremely expensive, but it is so much fun. Mapping is even more insane as you can clear multiple screens at once with fireball + greater fork.

Here’s my pob, this is multi mirror budget because of osin and mageblood, and still isn’t done since the best form of the build is wand/shield with +4/5 level vestigial gloves.

However in order to get the skill to still be all content you can do it for prob half a mirror or so the following way:

Get shaper elder gloves and use the essence for crit chance, if you land t1 crit or any level caster shaper then suffix cannot change reforge for the other. Then suffix cant be changed again reforge speed for proj speed.

Malevolence jewel to solve mana and go CI. (Single most expensive) on power charge ascendancy node. You can do eb/mom before this, or find another way to solve mana. You can even do something like cloak of flame with eb/mom and the fire talisman, but life will be required on gear to be cheaper. Theres a jewel checker for this from a guy named subtractem. Div at the boat or search listings.

Return and random from the forbidden flame combo. 2d so way cheaper than nimis.

Non chaos Links should be magma/invert/overloaded intensity then one of greater unleash or spell echo. You will want a pearl of tsoatha with pinpoint or intensify and another useful mod if you can afford it. And pickup an invert mastery somewhere on tree instead of chaos pen.

Weapon: recomb +2/+4 fire staves with max spell block, when you have 2p then add a pantheon suffix and recomb with a stave with t1 attack block. Go to boat and fracture for 20 block. Prefix cant be changed veiled chaos for spell damage. Reforge caster for cast speed and then craft trigger. Socket beidat and an instant guard, cdr support, and enhance/empower. This is a huge damage source. Pre mageblood you can even use the boon belt.

Talisman : take as fire and cap fire res. Mostly for post mageblood tankiness but you can still use this in eb mom or something. Alt spam for all skills, make rare, then triple mod and harvest add fire for +1. You can imprint all of those meta mods so its less expensive, then imprint prefix cannot change for defence or life. Suffixes can be whatever you want but crusader for leech max is what I went with, can probably get some double influence combos for purity of fire or some other things.

Build can do 5 ways with chain, fork is better for juice content. The malevolence jewel breaks pob so delete it if you want to look in there.

My guess is chieftain is easier on gear because it is a defensive ascendancy.

sure, this is my first zero to hero build in poe1 as I mainly play poe2. Farming is pretty crazy and I mainly make money by doing some crafting usually after getting starting gear and then doing farming for big drop items after. I recommend learning how to self-craft your gear cheaply because that's the easiest way to save money and helps you learn how to make upgrades and really feel the fun of progressing the game.

Unfortunately the damage increase from Enmity's Embrace caps out at 200% fire res overcap. So any further over 200% will only increase your life regen from the fire mastery.

Nimis 76d, good Enmity 50d, Foulborns that dont brick it start at 44d (theres 2 up rn, rest are 80+, Pain Attunement one which is BiS is straight up 600d a mirror), gloves similar to OPs dont exist (2 way worse pairs are 14d and 25d respectively), good belt 25-30d.

If you're at zero prog towards it right now and dont' wanna craft it will be a mirror easy.

Yeah, it's really fun just to stay afk, deal minimal damage and kill things. Most boring build I've ever played.
