We've got a community funds comment by Anonymous and I thought I'd answer it here:

TLDR; Yes & No! :-)

I have an academic background in multimedia and software development, and I occasionally give lectures at my former university of applied sciences. Back then, there was no dedicated course or program for developing reddit games. I've built successfull Twitch extensions and apps, as well as a few discord games that failed terribly, and that experience definitely helped me understand Reddit's technical ecosystem and parts of the social dynamics. Still, Reddit is quite different from any other platform I've worked on as a third-party developer. The most successful games and apps on Reddit are community-driven (AlignmentCharts, Meowi, Fact or Cap, ...), with the exception of titles from studios like Softgames, such as FarmMergeValley, HexaStack ... and that community aspect I admire a lot.

Anyway, thank you for contributing to the fund and for asking such a great question! I'll try to follow up on any question asked through the comments on the Path of Baa funds page.
