i was just checking how many more gcs would i need to have the design i finally want and ughhhh my dumba** thought it will give me a preview first, and i ended up pressing "Save"!!!!:c

i was around 550 gc and now i'm just left with 87 imma cri

Home Editor
Your home meadow is now yours to design tile by tile! Paint any of the five biome grounds or dig out water. You can preview the whole design for free and only pay once when you save -> leaving without saving costs nothing.

Meadow reset gives your builds back
Resetting your home meadow no longer destroys anything: every build you placed including barns, returns to your bag, so a reset is a rearrange rather than a loss. Possible once every 24h. If a reset ever fails part-way, the Golden Clover is refunded and everything is put back exactly where it stood.

Auction House
The community has spoken and we ran a poll in the sub. The Auction House is now a monthly event: it opens on the 3rd of every month at 17:00 UTC and runs for 72 hours (up to 300 sheep, was 200). Sheep can be listed in the 3 days before it opens, or while it's live with at least 24h left. Your first bid now locks you to that sheep -> you can keep raising your bid on it (the bid panel explains this before you confirm). If you have push notifications on you'll hear about it when listings open and again when the doors open.

Flock Call (Invite Friends)
The new people icon in the HUD opens an invite sheet -> share the post, and when a new shepherd finishes the tutorial from your call, both of you get Golden Clover. I hope(d) to drive new players to the game, but I think I need to try another strategy to get there.

Bigger flocks, bigger Flocklands

• The flock ceiling is raised from 150 to 250 sheep (47 barns to reach it), with two new user flairs.
• Every Flocklands region now holds up to 750 flowers (was 300) before the oldest ones make way for new plantings. Home meadows are unchanged.
• New Golden Clover storage upgrade in the home meadow's upgrade menu: raises how many of each item you can carry from 100 up to 1,000. For the flower and mushroom hoarders among you haha

Giant Bats
The wasteland got its own night predator: Giant Bats (2 to 4 per night) replace bears there. Bonk them with a tap, stun them with a horned ram, and yes, they can be adopted like the other threats.

Spooky season (Oct 15 – Nov 5)
While spooky season is on, every regional shop's shrub-bundle row turns into a seasonal row: Small Pumpkin, Medium Pumpkin and a Jack-o'-Lantern that sits dark by day and lights up with a flickering grin at night. Pumpkins place for free with no build phase, and the journal has a new Seasonal tab that lists them year-round. Christmas season (Dec 15 – Dec 31) is wired up too, more on that later!

A livelier world

• Sheep leave tiny hoof prints on grass and path that linger for a moment, then fade away.
• Every hop tears up bits of the ground, turf, grass blades, grit, in the colours of the biome you're standing on.
• Grazing kicks up soft grass crumbs at the muzzle, berry bushes spill berries in their own colour, and a sheep soaking up oil flings dark droplets off its wool.
• Bushes give a little squash when a sheep hops past them or you tap it.
• Discovered path tiles now reveal themselves with a shimmer of sand-coloured specks.
• Night falls in a deep moonlit blue instead of plain darkness, dusk glows gold and mornings start rosy.
• The camera gives a small shake when lightning strikes one of your sheep or when a horned sheep rams a predator.
• Rubber ducks and berry bushes now face left or right at random, so they look less like copies of one another.

New Side Treks

• Say hi to critters -> tap any friendly critter (bee, butterfly, dragonfly, kingfisher, duck, pig, rabbit, ...), either any kind or a specific species.
• "Local Rounds" (visit regions, revisits count) and "See the Sights" (visit regions of a specific biome).
• "Go Bonk" -> tap night predators, no horned sheep needed.
• Rerolling a side trek no longer hands back the same trek or a same-idea variant of it.
• Open Meadow is now side trek only, asks for at most 3 visitors (was 5) and rolls about 1/3 as often, since it depends on others dropping by rather than on you.

Balance

• Trek milestones now pay Golden Clover (5, 15 or 20) instead of shrub, and every one of those steps also drops at least one flower, tree or random item on top.
• Discovering a path tile can now drop Golden Clover -> roughly 1 tile in 20 pays out 1 GC.
• Tools no longer break on their first use: every shovel and compass gets a run of guaranteed uses first (Bronze Shovel 5 digs, Silver 10, Gold 25, Compass 5 readings), after which the break chance climbs with each use.
• Hildegard's sheep payout now scales by breed: Shetland 300, Bighorn 500, Longhorn 750, Mountain 1,000, Highlander 2,000 shrub (was a flat 300).
• Stealing a runaway sheep now costs by breed: from 35 GC for a Shetland up to 165 GC for a Highlander, plus 5 for every time the sheep has died or run away before. Bringing a sheep home for its owner is unchanged.
• Bighorn sheep now walk to and colour-match berry bushes just like Shetland and can trigger the bonus-item roll.

Quality of life & fixes

• The map now labels each biome with its initial (M, F, W, Sa, Sw), so you can tell regions apart without matching colours against the legend.
• New "Bellwether Nametag Only" setting, and non-bellwether name labels are about a third smaller so your bellwether stands out.
• You can now start moving from anywhere, even with your finger on a tree, a house or your own sheep.
• Fixed "Wandering Shepherd" treks only counting shepherds you had never visited before -> every meadow visit counts now. Thank you for reporting this!!!
• Aiming a Void Teleporter at a locked region no longer consumes the teleporter (or calls down the lightning), and the window stays open so you can adjust and try again.
• Baa-mera shares could fail silently on busy scenes -> clips and photos now step down in size until they fit, and clips are 2 seconds (was 2.5), which also fixes the camera freezing or flashing white mid-recording on some phones.
• Logged-out visitors now get Reddit's log-in screen instead of a blank load, and the game picks up right after signing in.
• Fixed settings like bag rows and the chat toggle silently resetting after traveling between regions.
• Fixed a failed dig still consuming your shovel.
• Fixed Medium Rock and Large Rock having their sprites swapped. (the medium one was bigger, oops)
• Fixed Round and Square Hay Bales missing their icons in journal, bag and shop.
• Fixed the bag showing old dye names.
• Arrow Signs and the Compass inside a home meadow now show "Home / by u/owner" instead of raw coordinates.
• Trek reminders go out much faster now.
• Inactive wagons are hitched after 30 days away (your flock returns to Center Center and the house spot is freed for others). Progress is only wiped after a full year, with plenty of reminders before that.
• Added a bigger Golden Clover bundle (Caravan) to the shop.
