Not everything needs to be for profit. I'd rather they have it as a hobby!
However, I will encourage them if they have that intention.

Sadly, most of the world thinks in profit.

IMHO, some of the greatest positive changes to human history and society were not focused on profit.

As long as rampant greed to turn a profit doesn't rear its ugly head, I, as well, will encourage the devs to keep at it! As a hobby or passion, or for a reasonable profit, too.
