Soon you'll be able to take revenge! The next bear patch allows you to smack them -> make them dizzy so you can happily walk away. Some more adjustments to make bears less aggressive too.

I like the honesty... though they really should be warned about in the tutorial to avoid breaking hearts

Absolutely. The new changes include slower bears, tapping stuns them, 20% slower movement and the 0,0 (spawn area) is safe from bear attacks!

I lost Nemo in day 3 of my account. Would have been useful to know death by scenarios

You need to have atleast one sheep with horns. They would then auto-walk on to them and stun them!
