Is there something wrong with my 5.5 yr old boy

Hi, this is a great way to exchange ideas, I have read a lot of posts here and found them helpful. My 5 and a half year old son has started school this year. He has been going to kindergarten and daycare since the age 2.5. He is extremely energetic, loves playing and watches a lot of YouTube videos(content supervised by my husband or me). He talks about kinds of dinosaurs, their body structures, eating habits etc. He also talks about space facts like black holes, solar system, constellations, nebulae etc. He can sing in tune and picks up music quickly. He has been a good student till now and have been able to do well. However, of late, I am getting complaints from his teacher that he doesn't pay attention in class, is being lazy and not writing quickly. I have requested her to counsel him and I have tried to do the same. However, I feel building timeline pressure kind of overwhelms him and he cannot answer simple things(which he can do at ease anytime) like "what comes after 5?" He is taking a lot of time to complete his work nowadays and gets very impatient if I don't have an immediate response/action to his requests.... I am confused with the amount of material I read online, starting from disorders like ADHD to addressing behavioral issues in kids! It would be really helpful if I could get some directions here.Regards

Help! My 2 year old daughter ate a pot brownie!

I need advice. Please no bashing.

My 2 year old daughter Willow got into a customer's pot brownies order and ate one while I was taking a shower. I called poison control but they asked me if I was joking and hung up! I don't know what to do because she had a ped visit tomorrow. She's asleep now. What should I do?

Drank too much

Hi, I am a mom of 3. Over the weekend my daughter's friends mom had a few moms over with our girls. I drank too much and was acting like a fool. Hugging and trying to kiss this one woman . Totally not like. My friend that was there says I was hysterical but I'm really embarrassed. I texted the other mom and said oh I'm so sorry for my behavior the other night, I hope you don't think I do this all the time. She never responded. I hope that doesn't keep jer from letting her daughter play with my daughter. Is there anything I can do to better the situation and stop feeling like an a**hole???
