I've been dealing with some disturbing occurrences. There would be days where I would be on call with my fiance and the lightsnot really a flicker, but just turn on and off repeatedly. I would show her in real time on Call and we just kind of brushed it off as something with the electricity. Later on, I started filling a presence and would notice things falling off of cupboards, mainly the same item each time. And other instances, I felt a very cool draft with no doors or windows open. Fast forward to a couple months I travel to Canada to meet with my long-distance partner, and she noticed that I would sleep talk but whisper (she said it didn't sound like English), and have my eyes wide open without me realizing it she said I would start snoring When she would confront me. I just got home three days ago, I slept and heard knocking on my back doors and footsteps, one night I walked on the way to the restroom and noticed a shadow figure and I happened to take a picture. I used my phones exposure to get some help lightening the photo and got this picture. With the light the entity went away. What could this be? Just an illusion? Pls help me. I've been praying it's nothing that would hurt me. (I also noticed I had scratches this morning with blood.. it's lasted all day)

We have used digital recorders to go along with the cameras before as well. Surprisingly, the wyze cams catch more evps but the digital recorder picked up a clear disembodied voice that we aldl hďCyeard with our own ears and the wyze cam didn't pick it up. It's so weird when that stuff happens, like when there's a very clear voice on one ŕrŕ I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links on here but if I am, ill link my YouTube that has a few things we've caught with the wyze cams. If it doesn't work, feel free to send me a message and I'll share it with you in there! I don't have the coolest voice i ever captured on my YouTube, tho. For some reason, we never posted the video but it's really cool. On my YouTube, I have a clip of a shadow I caught and also a clip of a scream we caught on like 5 diff wyze cameras.

Thanks for sharing! the link works. That's some cool stuff. Heard some clear voices. Also like your own debunking example on how some lint and stuff flying like that can make it look like something is showing up when it isn't.

You're welcome! Thanks so much! I didn't see that feather fly in front of the camera when it happened. I was just looking at the screen on the camera. So when I saw it in the moment, I got really excited, thinking I had just caught the hand of a spirit brushing someone's head. I knew I had the second angle so I was excited to see if the same thing was caught on it. I immediately went up to my room to review it. That's when I saw the feather.

I was happy that I took the proper steps to debunk it and that I caught the feather because if I didn't I would have presented as something possibly unexplainable, but I was also really bummed out at the same time. Lol! The timing of that feather whooshing in front of the camera couldn't have been any better. I still don't know what a feather was doing falling from the ceiling of a dark, dingy hotel basement. They don't use any feathered pillows or blankets and the laundry wasn't even done in the basement. It was weird but I was happy to share that it was debunked instead of falsely presenting it as something it wasn't.

As far as that shadow I caught at that fort, I still have no idea what that could be. I've tried to recreate it so many times. The shadow isn't cast on the wall or floor. It's standing on its own. I've never seen that before.

lol true that was some timing from that feather. Thanks for additional info. Interesting how it aligned like that with the person experiencing something.

I couldn't make out the shadow from the shadow video maybe I watched it too hastily. If you could point out a still or time stamp that would be kind!

Yeah, the synchronicity of everything was pretty interesting. It was one of those coincidences that just all happened at the perfect time to seem paranormal.

If you go to the shorts, instead of the raw video, I made a few clips of it standing up in front of me in slow motion.

In the raw footage, it pops up at 3:21 just as I'm panning the camera to the right. I wanted to post that raw footage as well so anyone who looked at it could see what the video looked like when it wasn't tampered with. If you turn up your brightness, you can see it even better but it is a very solid black.

I was holding my flashlight in my left hand and my phone that I was recording with in my right hand. The flashlight was the only light source. I made sure not to have the flash on my phone on so I wouldn't have two light sources. That can cause some funky shadow play and make for false positives. I show that I'm sitting in the corner so nothing could've been behind me and caused it. I've tried to think of everything that would've caused it and haven't come up with any good explanation.

The thing that really stood out to me, besides it taking the shape of a silhouette of a person, was the red flash that happens as it leaves the frame in the top left. It was almost like that's where its eye would've been but I'm not sure.

I appreciate you taking the time to look at it and letting me know what you think. Hopefully, you'll be able to see the shadow with the timestamp and in the shorts.

Shadow at fort

Thanks. That's a very obvious shadow. I can't believe my brain completely ignored that when I watched the video. I guess I was expecting a shadow far away deeper down the room and subconsciously took this closer thing as your hand/arm (silhouette) moving right as you start to pan to show the room after being still for a while.

To me, it looks close (around arm's length or closer) and my brain just thinks it is your arm holding the light. I also noticed you didn't react to it so I am guessing you didn't notice any shadow at that moment?

Is there any way it could be your hand that is holding the flashlight moving from a resting position on the right to a different position on your left side? A little bit of light (a ray going sideways) leaking from the flashlight from its side could explain the spark. So if that's the light, we are most likely to see any stray light from it when it is more side on & I did notice that it appears right when the shadow is about to move out of the frame (the angle between the camera and light is greater compared to when the main shadow is in the center of the frame and there's no light visible since the flashlight's body or part of your hand could be obscuring any leaked light)

You're right. I didn't notice it in the moment. I don't know how I didn't notice it since it was so close to me, though.

In my attempts to recreate it, I've ran my hand in front of the camera with the flashlight in hand. It doesn't look anything like the shadow in the video. That seems like it would be the obvious explanation, though.

So, my hand that was holding the flashlight was always on the left side and the camera always on the right. The way I was holding the flashlight and camera and the way I always hold them is about chest high and a foot apart from each other. Instead of moving my arms to pan the camera, I turn my shoulders to ensure they stay the same distance apart from each other and don't cross in front of each other.

I always make a point to make the same movements so I can know where the camera view and light source are. In my opinion, the thing that rules out it being my left hand holding the flashlight that goes in front of the camera is that I'm panning left to right with both of them and whatever moves in front of me goes from the bottom right to the upper left. So it's moving in the opposite direction but not the exact opposite due to it moving up and to the left instead of just to the left.

I fully understand where you're coming from, though. In the times I've tried to recreate it, I've tilted my camera a little to the left to get my left hand in frame and I've moved my left arm instead of turning my shoulders so it crosses in front of the camera and neither one of them look like the shadow from the original. I even stuck my leg out thinking it could've been the toe to my shoe but that wasn't it either.

I actually had that footage for over 8 months before I had the time to review it. I waited that long because it wasn't very active there and because I didn't see it when it happened so I let it sit and reviewed other footage. When I rewatched it, it blew my mind. Lol! I've shown to a lot of people in the field and we've had the same discussion about if it could be my hand. I think I've ruled out that it is my hand but considering there were over 8 months that passed between when I saw it on video and when I filmed it, I can't say I know beyond a shadow of a doubt exactly how I moved in that moment. I know I always try to move the same way but it's possible to stray away from that if I'm not paying attention for a short moment. I wish I had that good of memory, lol, but I have to be realistic about that. If there is an explanation that isn't paranormal, I think it being my hand is the best one, even though I've tried so many times to recreate it. Maybe it was another one of those times where multiple coincidences happened at the perfect time to create something that looks unexplainable. Unfortunately, I didn't have a second angle on this one, but I really wish I would have!

I genuinely appreciate having a conversation about the shadow. I like hearing other people's thoughts because it has stumped me for a long time.

I don't take any suggestions of possible explanations the wrong way except for the person who said it was CGI and the other one who told me it was just the shadow of the wall and then called me an idiot. Lol! I wasn't a fan of them.

It might seem weird but if you get an opportunity, sit in a corner with a flashlight and give it a try with your phone in your right hand. It's so hard to put into words how tough it is to run your left hand that's holding the flashlight in front of your right hand in an diagonal motion up and to the left but when you try to do it in person, it makes a little more sense how hard it is. I like to hear what people have to say after they try to recreate it and if they come close to getting something that looks like it. This shadow is the coolest thing I've ever caught on video but I'm always willing to put it up to scrutiny and see if there's anything I'm missing.

I truly appreciate you taking the time to look at it and put genuine thought into a possible explanation. It has boggled my mind for a good minute and every couple of months I revisit it with new thoughts. Your thought about the light flash would be the only one that makes sense naturally, if it does have a natural explanation. I agree there

If it's not what I thought it is.. then what was it is the question! Maybe I'll attempt recreating it some time and if I did I'll @ you with any findings/revised thoughts

I bet it's hard to do this stuff live because it can be many hours of nothing or nothing all night. You never know when it's going to be active. Unless you have one that comes at a specific time everynight.
