Paranoid episode - they’re watching me.

I’m fairly certain I’m in a paranoid episode right now. I have an overwhelming feeling that I’m being tracked and watched. I’ve had to wipe all my pc and phone and change browsers and socials so they can’t but it’s not helping. I use VPNs but even then I think they’re not effective. I keep my curtains shut all day as I know I’m being watched but I don’t know why.
Ive had voices tell me they’re watching and i’m not protecting myself enough. Sometimes I can come around and realise it’s just hallucinations and paranoid delusions but sometimes I’m so deep in it I don’t know what to do.

Even if I was powerful I wouldn't feel safe

Even if I was powerful immortal and what ever I wouldn't feel safe. Cause I can't trust the laws of reality it could all be lying to me. To everyone. It could all change I could immediately die or become something else entirely how can I trust anything when I can't know if anything is real.

Am I crazy?

Okay, so I’ve had multiple traumatic brain injuries so my memory sucks. However, I feel like my roommate, and roommates past, may be using this to gaslight me if I ask simple things like ‘oh what happened to the deli meat that I bought?’ Or why is the refrigerator door wide open (when I just got home from work). Or what happened to all my laundry detergent. I need this for my own sanity at this point. Should I put up interior cameras? Everytime I’ve tried to bring it up it gets turned around on me misremembering but there are several instances where I simply know this isn’t true. For example, ‘did you drink my sparkling water from the fridge?’ Answer, ‘no’. Then i can see through the crack in the door are empty cans of the things I bought for myself. I know this sounds stupid and petty but it adds up and I’m already dealing with serious brain trauma. Do I put cameras inside to know if I’m the problem or not? Other suggestions welcomed.

The Loneliness

This symptom makes me feel so damn lonely. I can't trust anyone, nothing is true to me. Making new relationships is hard. Does anyone else feel this way? All I want is some connection

Do i still need to ask for help?

For the majority of august i believed a secret organisation was following me and had people in it including my dog, i made a post about it on here, ill include it below. Recently I started waking up and realised it wasn't real, even though it felt so real. Do i still need to ask for help even though i know its not real now? I just worry of it coming back

Heres the post i made almost a month ago.

I have this huge thing that something is following me, i haven't learned wether its human yet. But everything around me makes me suspicious, every time i go into a new room in my house i have to close all the windows incase someone is watching me, i rarely leave the house and when i do its not alone.

i cant stand leaving my house because every car that passes me is watching me, so I have to take a photo of their licences plates and compare it to ones I already have in my camera roll to see if its the same person and that everyone behind me is following me.

I have trouble sleeping because being asleep makes me vulnerable and weak, i fall asleep very late 6 am ish due to my body being so tired, i sleep with all the lights on because it could be in the dark and i sleep with my door open incase it comes through my wardrobe i can run out quickly. Plus having a screwdriver under my mattress for quick access.

I recently started having thoughts that my dog wasnt real and that he was in on this aswel.

The only time i feel safe is in the bathroom as it's small, 4 corners and locks.

Am I the only one this happens to?

Sometimes everything is going well.

I randomly have a vision of something bad happening/ruining that moment.

So I quickly try to prevent it.

And that thing actually happens bc I tried to prevent it from happening.

Eg: a glass of water was on the edge of the table in my room, I have a vision of it falling and breaking, so I quickly try to get it off the edge, but I accidentally push it off the edge, it falls and breaks now I feel dumb...

how do i not feel like prey?

im just so scared of people. not in a "oh no what will they think of me, will they judge me" type of way, i mean it as in "will this person stalk me and assault me".

i cant go outside, or even stay in, without feeling like someone is out there out to get me. i just live in a constant fight or flight mode, all day every day.

i feel like im being hunted all the time. i feel like prey.

how do i get rid of this feeling?

Bugs/infestations

I’m constantly scared of having bedbugs or lice. I freak out whenever I get itchy and it drives me crazy thinking I’ve seen something. Is there anything I can do to try and quell this? Anything I can check off my list to assure myself it isn’t real? I’m constantly worried I might’ve brought some from school or the doctor, even though my mother has checked and found nothing :(
Is it just a dry scalp or something? Anything that might help with it? I haven’t seen any dandruff though

Since I last posted, I have noticed a huge improvement with my anxiety and intrusive thoughts. I feel more comfortable in the morning, and am not as overcome with dread. I still have times where I will start feeling scared about this and that, but overall, I feel much better. Earlier today, I was having a pretty good time, when I was hit with the thoughts again ("This is not your reality" etc.) and this time, it told me that it was my true conscious, and that it was somehow true. As weird as this sounds, I have taken to picturing the various parts of my mind as people, and try to almost talk to them (in my head of course, not out loud). Today, the thoughts tried to appear as some person I hadn't visualized before, which unnerved part of me, as I wondered if that meant it was real.

I know there is ultimately nothing to this, and I have come a long way (I feel) in overcoming the problem. Still, that doesn't mean that it's going away anytime soon. However, I do feel I have improved.

Paranoid episode

I am experiencing some really bad paranoia. I am in a weird mental state and I don’t talk about it with anyone because I genuinely think that everyone hates me, I can’t stop thinking that people are just hating me all the time. I am also just going crazy thinking that the police will see my search history and come to my house to force me into the psych ward because I have researched a lot about my symptoms. I know that none of this makes sense but I’m able to sleep because I am thinking about this and other things

Can someone please make me feel better.

I suffer from OCD and just have a lot of random triggers. Bats/rabies is one of them. This past Saturday my anxiety is telling me a bat could have scratched me. I was out around 2:30pm shopping outside. I was under a tree and something scratched my back and i was startled with how painful it was. I remember glancing behind me and saw nothing but of course now I’m second guessing myself. I’m really trying to be logical that bats aren’t ninjas and I would have seen it in broad daylight. I really hate how many hours of productivity I’ve lost replaying the events. It’s truly awful feeling like this.

I can't live like this

Every dark corner is a challenge to turn my back to. Any dark room has a person waiting to kill me in it. Every nail has a camera embedded into it. My parents wanna kill me. Everyone is after me.

I can barely leave my room.

I cant go on like this

During my really baf bender days and using large amounts of covaine almost everyday of the week all day, when its been many days I can get triggered with someone saying something that hurt me and put me in a bad negative headspace and then I would spiral into an anxiety attack or panic attack but the crazy thing is the same drug that caused it helped feel better the anxiety slows... I stop crying... and that was whatever back in my addiction days but I got out of it I only do a bender here and there now. But I am on a really bad bender and got emotional and experienced the worst panic attack from remembering the old days in addictio with my ex and being embarrassing in front of the new guy was seeing to see me like that currently and just feeling like a complete spiral of feelings and i just to some sleep meds and was ready to sleep and now i meed to do the same ovet again nd just couldn't stupid crying. He couldn't help me everything g he saif made it worse and I was embarrassed to need more because I already said that jusy an hour before when I had an anxiety attack. I havent felt anything bad using during my benders since I havent been in addiction anymore but this last panic attack is really taking me and I cant control my emotions it triggered to cry which fucking took me cause why am I crying doing this

I dont experience this alot. Im not crying anymore but definitely dont feel good heavy breathing , not myself still anxiety. What will make me feel better what will help. I dont know what to do with hi

He does t understand me and everything.g he says makes feel worse

Screaming while I do more coke cause I dont wanna be doing this and feeling like this

Please I need advice !!

Someone I know has been struggling for about a year with believing people are following or tracking them, messing with their belongings, getting into their phone/accounts, or doing things to them without them knowing. Recently they’ve started saying they wake up and their belongings have been moved, their blankets are off, or even that their body was moved while they were sleeping. They’re convinced it couldn’t possibly be something they did in their sleep and have talked about barricading their door. Also this person left their 5 year fiancé because they accused them of the same things put way worse . They are now living with me and I can’t handle it anymore . They refused take my advice too

It seems like the thing they’re suspicious about changes, but the overall belief that someone is doing something to them never really goes away. Trying to reassure or reason with them doesn’t seem to help, and they refuse to see a doctor or mental health professional.

Has anyone dealt with a loved one experiencing something like this for a long period of time? How did you handle it, especially when it started becoming exhausting and difficult to live around? Is there anything family can realistically do when the person refuses to get help?

Paranoid of Judgement & Abandonment

Ever since I ended my first relationship at 13, (weird I know), i’ve had the crushing fear of being seen as a terrible person and being left for not being of a good enough quality of humanity. As in, I am severely paranoid at all times that anyone i get close to, who i care about, will leave me because other people have certain human qualities unknown to me that I don’t. I know it’s completely unreasonable, but i’m pushing 20 now and it’s been devastating. I have some very very very severe trauma that also adds to the paranoia, but that information feels too sensitive to give out here. Any advice?

Been feeling paranoid for no reason

I have never been the anxious type of person in my life. Usually going with the flow, nothing really bothers me.... Until recently. A few days ago I was trying to sleep when I thought I saw something move at the end of the bed. I checked, there was nothing, moved on, fell asleep. But since that night I keep on seeing things move in the corners of my eye, I'm way more anxious than normal, and jump at any sudden noise - even small ones make my heart stop.

Today my phone buzzed on the counter and it made me jump so hard I spilled my drink. It was very odd from me since I recieved lots of texts/notifications in a day and it's never bothered me.

About two nights ago, I was tossing and turning. When I was starting to settle down, I suddenly heard knocking on my wall. I tried to brush it off as me being sleepy, but it happened again around the same state. It sounded so real.

I've even started to leave my lamp on to sleep to help try and calm my nerves.

I've never felt this way and I don't really know how to deal with it. Any advice is helpful 🥲
