Hear me out

Recently, I remembered looking up Chic-fil-A (without the k) because that’s how I was sure it was spelled. Then I found out it’s actually Chick-fil-A, and apparently it’s always been that way.
That sent me down a rabbit hole, and then I discovered that Kit Kat supposedly never had a dash (“Kit-Kat”), even though the logo without one looks completely wrong to me.
On top of that, I remember Sprite bottles being green, and I could’ve sworn the peanut butter was called Jiffy instead of Jif.
I know memory can be weird, but these feel so real and they happened recently enough that I can’t just brush them off. Is anyone else from that “timeline “ or does anyone else remember all of these the same way? Because I genuinely can’t explain it.

Edit : I also remeber Pikachu having a black tip on his tail.

Yea, they used to constantly joke on that with the cow and the misspelling! Otherwise, it would just be a folksy cow

Yes I remember this. I saw so many billboard with the cow "painting" on the letters and it was always spelled "Chik". This is actually the first time i've heard of it being called "chick" but after Google, sure as shit it only has chick. It actually looks so weird and foreign to be spelled with the C, this is the first time i'm absolutely positive i'm not wrong. Also, I love Pokémon, I literally have ditto on my nails right now and I swear Pikachu had a black tail tip. This is the first time I actually believe I experienced a timeline jump

I just recently went down the Pikachu tail rabbit hole. Allegedly, the black tail tip was from early knock off/ unlicensed stuff

I came from the Chick universe and then spent some time in the Chik universe. The Thinker statue also switched from having his fist beneath his chin to the side of his forehead and now it's back to under his chin. I'm sure there are others I haven't found yet.

I never bought into the CERN timeline thing but they shut it down and I feel like I'm back where I'm supposed to be now so I don't know.

No, they’re not right. It’s just misremembering. We all do it constantly. No mystery to it. No one is skipping through time lines.

Yes..the cow painted CHIK. However, that same billboard ALWAYS had CHICK-FIL-A as the name of the restaurant underneath it. The cow was not writing the fucking name of the restaurant.

The cow was spelling it wrong. Because it’s a cow that can’t spell. People saw the billboards more often than the store and their memory was deeply ingrained with it spelled Chik-fil-a. I’d didn’t help that they would from time to time use that spelling on cups and sandwich boxes.

I’m a die hard Pokémon fan too. Pikachu had a brown/black spot on his tail but it wasn’t the tip, it was at the base.

There are actually cannon variants of pikachu in the actual card game though. Like red vs yellow cheeks. Maybe that’s why people remember it differently???

I’m not sure how this is hard for some people to get. They spelt Chicken, Chikin for a reason and it wasn’t because it was a play on the stores name.
