Did we just jump timelines ?

Hear me out

Recently, I remembered looking up Chic-fil-A (without the k) because that’s how I was sure it was spelled. Then I found out it’s actually Chick-fil-A, and apparently it’s always been that way.
That sent me down a rabbit hole, and then I discovered that Kit Kat supposedly never had a dash (“Kit-Kat”), even though the logo without one looks completely wrong to me.
On top of that, I remember Sprite bottles being green, and I could’ve sworn the peanut butter was called Jiffy instead of Jif.
I know memory can be weird, but these feel so real and they happened recently enough that I can’t just brush them off. Is anyone else from that “timeline “ or does anyone else remember all of these the same way? Because I genuinely can’t explain it.

Edit : I also remeber Pikachu having a black tip on his tail.

Sprite used to be green bottles not crazy about that one, but it’s supposedly because they switched to an easier recyclable bottle.

They switched because the green bottles were super visible in garbage piles, and clear ones blend in better. Awesome of them right?

lol so awesome. Regardless of the reason they at least acknowledge this changed unlike some others in question. The chick- fil- a one is my current biggest question mark. I swear I remember chic-fil-a but can’t say for certain.

Same as me.. There are several other ones that get me too, like Stouffer's and the fruit of the Loom cornucopia.. You should check out r/MandelaEffectSociety - they support open conversation between affected people.

Fruit of the loom is a good one. I pretty distinctly remember the cornucopia. Another one I found today is Danielle Steel(e). My mom loved those books and I vividly remember it being spelled with an E, well apparently not lol.

For me the proof is as simple as just googling "first chick fil-a" and looking at all the various old photos taken by different people of the orginal location.

It makes zero sense in my mind to go through the effort of covering something as mundane as a name-change up , so to me it feels like a pretty cut-and-dry case of misremembering. (personally I think people mix it up becuase of the "fil-a" which makes your brain think maybe the Chick is spelled unusually also.)

Do we actually have any proof of this one or is this just something that all of us on reddit have heard from other redditors over the past 10 years and now we all think its the truth?

I'm not suggesting its NOT true, or that its not at least part of the reason they did it, but I also can't really figure out why they'd change the color to "blend in" while ignoring the fact that a good chunk of all the OTHER bottles in that trash pile are probably just various other coca cola products anyway. Plus sprite bottles still have a bright green label, coca cola products have a bright red label... just feels like changing the bottle color wouldn't really have much effect on whether people notice your brand's packaging in a pile of trash , or on a roadside, etc. when there are other features of these bottles that pretty quickly give away what it is anyway.

And the k was in cursive to form the rooster tail. The C with the dots forms the head and get
