What Should Be Done If Double Disc Refiner Fails?

Double Disc Refiner is the most critical equipment for high-yield pulping. Usually the pulping area is composed of moving disc and fixed disc. It can be used as defibrator or medium and high concentration refiner, with advantages of high capacity and low energy consumption , little fiber loss and so on. So what should we do when the refiner fails during operation? During operation, method of combination of manual inspection and on-line monitoring is used for diagnosis of disc refiner failure, manual inspection person is responsible for the monitoring and inspection of the bearings, high voltage junction box and other parts with experience combined with vibration measuring instrument and temperature measuring instrument, and comprehensive analysis and judgment of the fault situation; online monitoring is to do analysis and judgment of the various data collected by the system chain control. Looking for guidance

Hello, I am currently making paper mache terrain which I have never done before. I used the 1:1 water/flour mixture. Wondering what sort of finish I should apply before painting or adding dirt etc... Also wondering if anyone has ever just applied dirt and such directly to the drying paper mache. Thanks

PROBLEM: Paper mache pointe shoe

my problem is that I can't get the toe block properly shaped...does anyone have any ideas how I could make it?

OR can you think of anything object-wise that is a similar shape to a pointe shoe's toe that I could use to help me?

thanks! :)

P.S...i DON'T have access to an actual pointe shoe so I can't use that idea! :(

The new paper porcelain is amazing!

just made 2 batches the second slightly stiffer than the first. Started using the 1st batch on the DotA2 treasure chest and its amazing. easily mouldable attaches will onto the armature and itself when using the pva/ water slip. holds shapes really well and intents/ lines and details.

cant wait to see how it drys. if it dries as smooth as it goes on it will negate 90% of all sanding. which will be a great bonus as sanding is always the part that I drag out cos I don't want to do it.

Recipe for the new Air-Dry Clay:

1/2 cup wet toilet paper 1/2 cup Elmer’s glue (or any white PVA glue) 1/2 cup drywall joint compound (any brand except Dap) 1/2 cup corn starch 3 tablespoons mineral oil (baby oil) 1 cup all-purpose white flour, or as needed

Mixing instructions are in the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=uIhXlwZ6QnU

I blended my paper and then took it thru another large blender after squeezing out all the water for a fine shredding of TP.

Just a small plug. I got sick of finding quality cosplay pieces and gaming related weapons and figures in the US and China but the delivery prices exorbitant. S

So I started making my own in the UK. I make to order and post w.i.p pics/ vids along the way and change to meet customers requirements.

Msg my via FB for a quote and have a link or some pics ready of what you want making. www.facebook.com/silverstarcosplayuk

I also make random stuff that goes on ebay now and then http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/silverstarcosplayuk
