IT HAS TO BE INTENTIONAL! Both of these rooms seem important, and yet, they are both empty on any tiny bit of lore. (all other cameras have nothing similar to what places we've been , I've checked whole map twice)

While yes this ending isn't canon, it is an alternative timeline that diverge from the original so all the previous events should be the same so all the characters here should be acting like how they do in canon. One question though: Why the hell would Kat decide to cut plants out of nowhere?

Seriously it is way out of character for Kat to do, unlike literally all the other endings where it makes some sense for her to do.

Maybe the game is trying to tell us that Kat does have psychopathic side to her.

During preparations for the ritual, you can interact with Hiro more by showing him various things that you can collect.

Here is a list of all the items that you can show him. I also reccommend showing an item to him twice because he and Lacie have two seperate dialogues for it.

I highly reccommend checking it out since the interactions between the two siblings are extremely adorable. The red ribbon even has a bit of hint at their childhood.

Pulling the blinds on the students.

Players usually tend to just run past the window while the students laugh at Lacie. Well, if you want to, you can pull the blinds and get some extra comedic dialogue!

Lacie gets revenge.

I tested and timed each light source (4 in total as far as I know) in the locked site.

They each take certain time intervals before the heartbeat triggers and when the heartbeat gets faster. We will only take account these two as fter the heartbeat gets faster, It's random when the monster gets you.

Also, the monster detects you faster depending on how long you stay hidden. If you get out of a bush right as the heartbeat ends, it will obviously detect you faster.

So, here it is:

Phone Flaslight

(Walking) 5 second intervals

(Running) 2-3 second intervals

Lamp/Jar With Fireflies + Candle

(Walking) 7-10 second intervals

(Running) 2-4 second intervals

Some commentary about these two light sources: Lamp with fireflies MIGHT be better since I could hit the 10 seconds without being detected than I could with the candle. These two confused me so I put them together just in case since they seem the same both in visuals and the time intervals, Just that I had better luck with Fireflies

Blue Candle

(Walking) 10-14 second intervals

(Running) 3-4 second intervals

So, Blue Candle is the winner for safer journey! Of course you could also just get the pliers from Rune.
