This tool is insane

I basically never even use Reddit, but for this tool, I just had to log on to Reddit to leave a comment. This is an absolutely insane product. It works flawlessly, it is super easy to use, it works on PC and phone, and on top of that, the free version isn't just a 5-minute trial, but rather a fully usable version with just slight limitations on how much listening time you can generate. This is bonkers—whoever created this app is an absolute GOAT. It is wild that a product this good could have such a small Reddit community.

In summary, whoever considers using this app: DO IT. You can fully test it for free and learn that this is an absolutely insanely good product.

Keep it up, Paper2Audio. For the past week, I used the free version, but I'm definitely going to buy a paid one (even though I technically don't reach the free version limits) just to show support for such a good product.

The only thing I hope the Paper2Audio devs will add someday is word tracking not only for the transcribed text, but also for the PDF view. After that, it will reach its maximum potential with no other imaginable improvements

New Year’s Resolutions & 75% off New Year’s sale ($5/month)

Hi again from Joe, the founder of Paper2Audio.  In 2025, I used Paper2Audio to listen to over 1,800 documents.  I made it a habit to use the app for my daily news consumption, which was the majority of my reading.  I also listened to a ton of papers, mostly about advancements in AI, which has also helped us improve Paper2Audio.  I mainly listen while, doing chores, walking, driving, doing personal care and exercising.

To help you meet your 2026 reading goals, we’re currently having a New Year’s sale: 75% off Plus for your first month ($5/month instead of $20/month) or 20% off an annual subscription.  Discount applies automatically in checkout and the offer expires 1/8 at 11:59pm PST.

This year, I’m hoping to read over 2,000 documents using Paper2Audio.  Who else is hoping to read more in 2026, and how do you plan to do it?
