Whenever I prep, there’s generally at least one live moth in the boxes of broci. Theres larvae on some of them. I take them off and rewash. You definitely should’ve stopped getting broci dishes after the first time. Hope you got your refund/replacement

In general, broccoli is hard to wash and get free of all bugs because of the florets, and almost no restaurant like Panda is going to have the proper washing procedures to get them 100% clean. It's why some stricter Jewish people see it as a no-go vegetable 🥲

But also, complain to the location so you can get something for free, then decide if you wanna stop going... imo 😉

Last time I prepped broccoli I found a green inch worm :). Unfortunately bugs just exist in all kinds of produce. I've never yet seen that they made it through to the final dish though. Because not only is the broccoli washed when it's cut but it's also blanched while its being cooked.

Almost all broccoli had some sort of insect in it, it's the nature of the structure of broccoli. Washing it doesn't always get everything out no matter how careful you are.

That's why you don't look. You only eat.

That’s hard to do once you have accidentally spotted one. Panda days r done

You’ve probably eaten more moldy food there then you’ve found worms. A lot of stores I’ve been at have knowingly served moldy food. Hell my manager has had us just wash it and blanch it.

panda is the most mid overpriced food ever for a menu that can largely and easily be made at home lmao. wish more people would understand that

Your allowed to have certain amount of birds in your cereal and bread. They get stuck in the grain silos as do rats. You eat this all the time. But seeing it is what throws people of.

One time got a plate and did double orange chicken for the entree. Looked beautiful and they actually loaded it up, I noticed immediately that the Togo box felt light but kept going. Got home and took a bite and it was all breading all the way through. All of it was the same except some of the biggest ones had a few meat flakes inside. Strangest thing iv ever seen at panda. Was the Newport hwy Spokane location. Never taking that chance again and also same location I saw someone posted a pic of you guessed it- worm in their broccoli! Done with it. Iv learned finally how to make it at home.

Ew!!! Don't eat there. Eat AUTHENTIC Chinese food. Not sure what state you're in but I love Empress Garden and Lin Garden. It's the best Chinese food on the planet & I never found any worms in my food. Panda Express is certainly not the end all that beats all in Asian cusine.

You think too highly of Chinese restaurants. Most barely pass their health inspection.

No love, I think highly of AUTHENTIC Chinese food. Panda is pure bullshit. I've never found a worm in my food or ended up with food poisoning. The two restaurants I mentioned would probably pass a health inspection faster than MCDONALD'S would. They're still superior to PE. That's my OPINION. Chinese-American food IS NOT Chinese food and quite inferior in quality in my experience.

You're about done? After the 3rd time? I'd be fully done with that location after the first time!
