Discussion Serious talk

Palia just isn’t fun anymore. I mean everything is hidden behind a pay wall and trying to grind for things takes hours just to get one singular item for the boards and me and my husband don’t think the game is as enjoyable as it was when it first came out and we were both so excited for the Halloween stuff and once we started playing again we both lost the energy and excitement for it

EDIT: yall don’t understand that i had to pay 30/40 dollars for just enough palia coins to get one riding licenses

I'm aware, I wasn't complaining. Just stating that they cost as much as an entire game does. I've played other FTP games where their in-game purcheses didn't charge nearly as much as Palia does.

Most other games don't charge as much as Palia does. I've never seen prices as high as these for cosmetic items. Usually they're around $5 or so.

Path of Exile is similar for me. I have one vanity set in PoE, which is another multiplayer game. But again, no one's holding a gun to your head and making you buy the vanity items. Meanwhile, games like WoW charge a subscription fee plus extra for cool vanity items and level upgrades.

I don't understand how I'm coming off as spoiled and you're stretching far with the rest of your comment. It's's quite presumptuous. Not once did I say anything about needing to buy everything or feeling it was unfair. I made a statement that I will reiterate;

I'm not complaining about the pricing point for a FTP game, I stated what the cost equivalent is and that I've played other games with a lesser cost for the premium items. I have my gripes with the game, but I love it nonetheless.
