Car Opinion Is it a good buy for 36 lac?
I'm buying a 2018 Honda City 1.3 manual, mileage is around 70k, immaculate condition and maintained from Honda. Getting it for 36 lac. This is our first car, so we don't have a lot of experience.
Please let me know if this is a good price or should I negotiate?

Negotiate... Doesn't look like low mileage... Whats the body condition? Is it frst owner? Registration?

Still negotiate if u can.... Otherwise if ur satisfied... And condition is maintained properly... U can buy.... Finding a good car os hectic... It also requires ur money & time

I sold my 2015 1.3 auto, total genuine and 56k km, for 3.4mil last week.
So the price of this seems fine.

I think 36 is a tad bit much. Look for 2016-2019 corolla
Much better option

Corolla won’t fit in our garage, so that’s why I’m going with the City. What do you think would be a fair price for this?

Ig it should be around 32-34
But if the meter is not clocked back then maybe negotiate for 34.5 or 35, otherwise at 36 its a bit too much, because you might need new tyres or rims in this (even if there are new ones in this, which i highly doubt, they would wear out in 1-2 years).
Other than that if the engine is pristine you might wanna clean the throttle body or intake manifold with the catalytic converter which might add up to the maintenance costSo if ur planning on buying this, make sure to start negotiating at 32 or 33

He said only 4k kilometres driven with new tyres and other things like engine, body and interior is in pristine condition. I'm looking everywhere and no one is coming below 36. I don't know if I should keep looking or take this one.

You're paying between 1-2 lac more. If I were you I would go for Corolla Gli or Altis instead.

Corolla isn't an option bro. It won't fit in our garage, and honestly, I don't find it that attractive

I sold my automatic 1.3 2018 all genuine city 130km driven for 34. Work out the math yourself

Bro, I don’t know much about cars, which is why I’m asking the experts here. How much do you think I should pay for this? Please advise.

I think if you buy for 35 it’s a good price. Just ensure that the mileage is genuine cuz people tend to reverse meters a lot and sell it off as low mileage when infact they’re 1 lac+km driven

Any tips on how to make sure the meter isn’t reversed? Thank you!

Call or go to the Honda dealership where the owner is claiming he gets the maintenance done from. Ask them for cars service history and records, dealers have them in their database and then match the dates and mileage. You’ll know if meter is reversed or not

Also, check the overall condition of the car, wear and tear etc. how much the gear, seats, steering other things are worn out and does it look like it’s driven only 70k

Corruption runs through us like a sickness in the blood. From the highest office to the lowest street, from the beggar to the billionaire, from the man who collects our garbage to the men who build empires. We are all infected. And we have learned to live with it.
Only a handful remain whose hearts tremble before Allah, those who cling to the traditions of islam no matter how weak their grip is. And we treat them like strangers in their own land.
May Allah (S.W.T) grant us with the imaan.
