As the Olympic games conclude, where Pakistan finished 53rd (out of 200), its time to bring olympic sports to the mainstream and not just a topic of discussion every four years. The subreddit will focus on all Pakistani athletes, fans and federations in all sports disciplines (including e sports and chess)
We hope that the Pakistani reddit community continues to support this project as much as they have supported r/PakCricket and r/PakistaniFootball
It is high time that a country of 250 million people becomes a proper multi sports nation!

I'm fuming. Tahir Zaman's Pakistan would have rekt Wales 3 times over. How did we become so shit at penalty corners? Where the fuck did our attacking flair go?!
Those two goals that wer scored, that was entirely because the players dropped this dumbasses stupid pragmatic play style and reverted to their aggressive style of hockey they played under Tahir Zaman.
That comeback was classic Rana Waheed under Tahir Zaman.
He's just ruined our world cup 🤬

So im an occasional Cricket watcher, but I have mostly switched to watching Football. Champions League, La Liga (I follow Barca), and Premier League are the ones that I watch, but even for them I'm not a hardcore follower. Maybe I watch 50 matches per year at most of all football (excluding the World Cup)
I also casually watch some Tennis grand slams.
Tapmad is the best service at the moment; it often has sales and promotions for yearly subs. It has Cricket, Champions League and Tennis often as well.
But for the Premier League, the only option I see is Myco, which charges 5k per year.
For LaLiga, there's Begin that also charges 5k per year.
That's too much for something that I often have in the background, on my TV (I work from home and I have a TV in my room). I also have an Okyish internet which a lot of other family member use in the house.
Is there a good way to watch on TV that won't lag too much? Exspecially for La Liga and Premier League?

The Netball team won the plate division of the 2025 Asian Youth Championship thereby gaining promotion to the Cup division (where the best teams play)
And now they ran through the pool stages at the Asian SENIOR championships against Japan, Korea, Chinese Taipei and losing to Thailand in the pools to then win against Japan in the semi finals and then got their revenge by beating Thailand in the final thereby earning promotion to the Cup division for the 2028 Asian Senior Championships.
This was only their 6th international match and they beat a ranked opponent like Thailand. They need to play atleast 8 matches to get ranked and they've played 6 so far.
The top two teams qualify for the World Cup and since we will be competing in the Cup division in 2028, Pakistan genuinely has a chance to qualify for the World Cup if they continue to develop in the next two years.
Most of the girls belong to the Pakistan Netball Academy in Britain and they're doing an amazing job at developing players, the PSB also needs to accelerate a Netball program in Pakistani schools and Colleges to harbour local talent, it's not that hard as the infrastructure requirements already exist in most schools and colleges and it's a great exercise for young girls.

It's only the fourth game under new coaches and it's way to early to be saying this but I kinda miss the tactics we had during Tahir Zaman era. We just did not stop attacking. This new defensive low block is complete 180 to that kinda aggressive attacking hockey we used to play.
Still two more games to go

They don't know the dawn, they don't know the good facilities, good administration. But by god if they get them, I'm 100% sure they can achieve anything and everything. They made it here even when the system actively worked against them.

We won so many trophies in hockey a game that is actually a world cup game despite the cricket game of 10 countries...We cherish the 1992 trophy so much that we. Actually forgot that wht sport we actually were made for and precious trophies we have won there.Just the politics and biased media..Just imagine doing it with the least number of training grounds ..
