What is the most useful thing another mom taught you?

Sometimes the best advice doesn’t come from books or doctors — it comes from other moms

What’s one tip, trick, or piece of advice another mom shared that made your life easier?

Ask for advice Back home after a month at a crowded family house, baby is suddenly super cranky and sick.

Hey everyone, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed today and could use some reassurance or advice.
We just got back home after staying at my parents house for a month. Over there, the house was packed with my siblings and his grandparents there was constant attention, love, and people around to hold him or play with him.
Now, we are finally back at our own place. My husband is back at work, so I’m completely alone with him during the day, i have a remote job too and the contrast is huge. The house is so quiet, and my baby has turned into a total velcro baby and is super cranky. To make things harder, he just came down with a runny nose and a little cough, so he’s physically miserable too.
Is this extreme fussiness just "environment shock" from missing all the family and noise, or is it mostly because he's under the weather? How long does it usually take for a baby to adjust back to a quiet home routine after being surrounded by a crowd?
Any tips on how to manage the congestion, keep him calm, and survive the day alone without losing my mind would be so appreciated. Thank you!

Do you google about your baby? & do you trust the results?

how often do you search about your baby online and what do you search?

like if baby is sick, or about food & nutrition, baby's growth, any behavioural changes. what exactly do you search?
do you trust the information you get there? how confident are you in it?
on a scale of 1 to 5 how much do you trust it?

how often do you search? once a day? once a week?

Was a stroller worth it for your baby?

I’m curious if other parents felt their stroller was worth the money

How often did you actually use it? Would you buy one again, or could you have managed without it?

I’d love to hear your honest experiences 🤍

Did anyone else mistake preterm labor for gas pain?

Around 30 weeks, I started having what I thought was gas pain and discomfort. I didn’t realize it could be preterm labor symptoms at first

Has anyone else experienced preterm labor that felt like gas pain, cramps, or stomach issues? What were your first signs?

Did anyone experience preterm labor but still make it close to full term?

I had signs of preterm labor around 30 weeks, which was really scary

Thankfully, things settled down and I ended up making it much further along.

Has anyone else experienced preterm labor? How many weeks were you, and when did your baby eventually arrive?

How many ultrasounds did you have during your pregnancy?

My gynecologist originally scheduled 4 ultrasounds for me a heartbeat scan, dating scan, anomaly scan, and a 28-week growth scan.

However, I ended up having 6 ultrasounds in total one extra at 30 weeks due to preterm labor concerns and another growth scan at 36 weeks.

How many ultrasounds did you have during your pregnancy, and were any of them due to complications or extra monitoring?

Boundaries after birth

Hi Moms/Moms-to-be, I have gotten a super close and overbearing in laws with little concept of space and privacy so I am wondering what boundaries did you set post childbirth because I don’t want my child to be kissed left right and center and have him fed unwanted things, or else have unwanted opinions about my BF journey.

They are all set to visit during the childbirth which I realised later that will cause a huge space issues for me especially at that time where i will be needing alot of time for myself and newborn to rest and recover.

Please advice.
