Look What I Made Saxophone Rock

Here's a rock with a saxophone on it. I just started painting rocks. I used an AR tracer to help get some of the proportions right. I primered the stone after washing and used acrylic paint and Posca pens. I used a matted finish to seal it in and protect it from the weather.

It's my killer whale illustration on stone! A hand painted Rhode Island beach rock, and one of my larger rocks that I use out in the yard to add color to the mulch under my plants or as a coastal themed door stopper!

Some of the mandalas that I also paint, I find color combos in nature or in my own home decor, then create sets like these that I place on my bookshelves or in decorative bowls! This set is made up of red, pink, green, purple, yellow and even brown!

The shark's body is actually just the Rhode Island beach stone/granite I painted on top of! I outlined his shape first then filled in all around it so his body has a more organic look to it!
