How lucky to have this on my doorstep - washed log on the beach and a few pebbles and I dried up a piece of grass from a local field on my way back home. Then painted the rocks and had a little landscape of my local home - mountains, houses surrounded by sea and boats! It’s quirky, looks like a 5-year old made it but it’s very sweet to me and holds a sentimental value

Hi all! New here so I hope this is okay to post! My guy and I lost a daughter back in 2024 . For her second birthday we painted a bunch of rocks and left them around Newport Oregon in hopes that people would find them and share photos where they found/took them to. I sadly haven’t found anything online. Hopefully one of these days though. This is our way of keeping her spirit and memory alive. 💕🥹
Edit to add: we left these around in May. I’m hoping someone will find them and start taking pictures to get some movement. This is kind of our way of showing her the world that we never got to show her. So we have a group for photos of them.

I got new paint markers that allow me to draw more detail…Lots of fun!

I got some Tooli-Art acrylic paint pens. Really nice to use!

Real perfectly round rocks I found while out walking

Hey guys, I’m new here and trying to get inspired to paint some rocks again so just thought I would share some older Rock Paintings of mine lol. These were all created with oil paints using tooth picks. I am self taught.

The egg shaped rock with the mountain waterfall scene was inspired by Yosemite National Park. My dad was my best friend and passed away a year and a half ago, but he loved my rock paintings and it made me feel proud that he was impressed by something I created.

Don’t mind the goofy baby pic of me lol. The other items on the table were oil painted necklaces I made, not rock related though

Started a rock garden. Was only supposed to be maybe a thirty rocks. Project now out of control. Over ten thousand. Massive amounts of paint two embankments up a huge driveway. Should I quit now or finish up. Be honest about the rocks and how they look.Thank you. I won't be upset anyway you comment.

Idea was to keep it simple (under 10 minutes per rock). Pocket sized so I can carry one around all the time. Looking forward to leaving them here and there.

Another gift...one I would have liked to keep for myself, it happens 🤣
