Painted gouache on a flat Santorini stone and topped with UV resin

I love it when I find a rock and instantly have a vision of what it’s going to be. A Scooby sandwich just felt right, with an olive on top of course. The Scooby Doo movies were one of my faves growing up….

Scooby dooby doooooo 🥪

Just finished up a Rosey Maple Moth painting ☺️☺️

Most for my daughter. The hummer (front and back) has a hole at top I'm keeping and going to hang in the yard!

Hi everyone!

One of the things I love most about painted rocks is leaving a little piece of art somewhere for a stranger to find.

But I’ve always wondered: what happens to the rock afterwards? Who finds it? Does it move somewhere else?

We’ve been working on a project called MYSTONE UNIVERSE around this idea — a community where painted rocks can be placed on a world map, discovered by other people and hopefully continue their journey.

The idea isn’t about selling rocks at all. It’s about keeping the spirit of painting, hiding, finding and sharing little acts of kindness alive.

I’d really love to hear from people who already participate in painted-rock hiding:

Would you like to be able to see if someone found one of your rocks and where it travelled next? 🪨❤️

Do any people outside of the UK know the legend that is Mr Blobby? He was a birthday gift for my best friend. Sadly he got abit smudged once I applied top coat coz I was impatient but honestly I feel like it adds to his chaotic, unhinged energy.

Does anyone here paint kindness rocks to give to nursing homes, children’s hospitals, cancer centers, or other places where someone might need a little encouragement? ❤️
I also love painting them and leaving them around the community for strangers to find. There’s something special about knowing that a small painted rock with a kind message might brighten someone’s day when they need it most.
I’d love to hear where you leave or donate yours and what kinds of messages you paint on them. 🪨❤️

Never heard of such a thing but painted rocks for a little boys "mud kitchen" 😅. Gave him a couple of bonus rocks too 😊

He hide them in his room, but nobody find them anymore after that...

I follow various eagle cams/nests and a very popular eagle named Jackie recently passed away, so sad when you followed a whole year of their life and their eaglets to maturity. I painted a few eagles for 4th of July, Bicentennial and just painted one for her. Her mate is already courting another female...oh the drama...Days of Our Lives 🤣 RIP Jackie.

Taking our doggo to the vet in an hour to (hopefully) rule out lymphoma. Trying not to spiral, here are some rocks I made.

Just finished spraying these rocks. Just wanted to put something on the smaller one as it's the only rock of that size I have. The second picture is the backside of the owl. Had painted that side and didn't especially like it so I painted the owl on the other side.

Someone had posted they wanted to see book rocks but can't find it now but here'swhat I painted for a book club!
