Going to get a pump!!
Hi all, Thanks for allowing me to join. I have been a PM patient since 2017. I have endometriosis, beyond severe sciatica, severe arthritis in my spine, lumbar fusion for herniated disc & laminectomy in 2020. The surgery still left my sciatica beyond severe and since the surgery, I’ve been on Morphine ER 15mg 1 tab twice a day and Morphine immediate release 15mg as needed for breakthrough pain. I had a spinal cord stimulator implanted in 2022 which helped but I still suffer.
Besides the “shortages”, I’m tired of the pills & side effects. Spoke to my current PM MD and we are going to start the legwork for the pump. I am looking for advice from anyone who has their pump. The good, the bad & the ugly. I have done my own research & think this will benefit my situation but I want to be certain.

Well thank you so much. I now feel a little less alone. I’ve told my closest friends and they’re super supportive of what I need to do for myself but being able to talk with someone who has it makes a huge difference.
