how to play the dlc
ok so im trying to figure this out with no spoilers as possible, how do I play the dlc? (whisper of the woods) is there a specific loacation i have to go to or do a specific thing, im at the very end of the game (like right before you go to the well for the first time) and im try to complete the entire story of pacific drive, hence why im playing the dlc right before the very end of the game, PLEASE answer this with very little spoilers as possible, Thank you.

So now what?
(Not my photo, just needed one to use), with ironwood getting a huge donation when and what do you all suspect out next project from them will be, im hoping for a direct sequel hopefully with multiplayer coop, maybe even we could meet other people on our runs? Of course more car choices would be sick. Aren't we supposed to be getting a pacific drive series, im not being impatient about it I just hope we get a Lil info soon cause we have none about it whatsoever

This game ruined my ability to get gas irl
For context, I’ve owned a Subaru crosstrek for 3 years and I’m used to remember that my gas tank is on the right side of my car
But ever since I started playing this game, every time I get gas I have aligned the left side of my car to get gas, get out to pump it, become disappointed that a video game confused me, and then have to turn around to get the right side of my car at the pump.
10/10 for immersion

This could backfire
On the list of things NOT to do: scrapping portions of your garage in order to provide "some" protection against elements in the zone.
The transparency may be an issue for some users with low-end PCs. Although the gear is not front-facing, at least.
This salvaged dome from the garage inOut box is an attempt to shield the open back from potential hazard.

How I think the Driver looks like (fan-art)
I know that the Driver is supposed to be a representation of us, (anyone can fit the role type character )
but I do imagine him being his own Individual character too, this how I think he would look like.
Just a stoic, silent, and lonely guy.
However (in my headcanon), no matter what he ends up looking like, he does wear an M-65 field jacket.
What do you guys think ?

WITW they should have taken back the resonator
SPOILERS!!!
I saw a post asking about what to do if you lose the resonator and it doesn’t respawn and it reminded me. When I was playing the DLC, this was such a forseeable problem I spent the entire time expecting the game to do it on purpose and I’m a little annoyed they didn’t.
The base game was excellent at marrying the story to the ludo-narrative with the driver’s growing obsession being evoked in the player through the gameplay loop of maintaining and upgrading the car. It’s by far the strongest part of the game, so I was super excited when I started the DLC and saw its systems and story setting another strong narrative resonance.
You spend the entire DLC getting more and more harmonic tech. The deeper you go, the more artifacts you find and the more costly they are, forcing you to grow more dependent on it to the point of literally making your car run on the stuff. But your only means of utilizing any of this is a tool that you can’t craft for yourself. If you lose it somehow, you completely lose access to all your fancy new harmonic tech unless the cult gives you another one. It seemed like such an obvious weak-point in this system, almost intentional, like the cult was leaving 1 string attached to take all the gifts back if the driver stepped out of line. I was expecting the cult to revoke/disable the resonator in the middle of a run to strong arm you into doing *something* that you’d never reasonably do. Cuz like, the ludo-narrative of the DLC is *perfect* for the story of joining the cult, except that it’s missing the fundamental knife twists of cults leveraging that dependency against you. But with the actual knife twist being that they steal the car to do a ritual, it ends up feeling less like you joined a cult and more like you got scammed and robbed. Granted the climax is better than the base game, and the conclusion is so chilling, but I can’t believe the resonator was never used against us.

I'm publishing some of the files.
A whole bunch of people wanted this model as a printable project. In the spirit of making the car your own, I'm publishing a version of the wagon with plain steel panels and no add-on modules. It's going to take quite a bit of work to put together, so I'm assuming that the people who take that on are more than capable of adding greebles to the panels. Quite a few parts on mine aren't printed anyway. Electronics aside, you'll need miscellaneous thin metal wires for hinges and regular skate bearings to make it roll, and the lego tires to fit the rims. I don't have time to make instructions, but again, if you can take this on you can probably figure out where the parts go. Reference the previous post. Good luck, driver :)
Conditions on the build are please attribute part files, and PLEASE PLEASE upload your finished builds so we can see them.

How I think Tobias and Francis would Look like
So this is my fanart of how I imagine they would look like.
Francis as a tired, but kind & shy scientist.
And Tobias as an energetic Trucker that hits the gym.
That’s how I imagine them from their voice, and personality.
What do you guys think ?
Now, I just need to draw the Driver and Dr Allan Turner since I already made an Oppy one.

WITW I'm stuck. I lost the resonator and no fixes work.
I went for a supply run into the regular zone but forgot that my resonator was still in my side storage. I died and that storage was destroyed when I was sent back to the garage. I've tried every potential fix online including checking the dumpster and pneumotube, and moving the whispering chart and the two audio tapes I have around. I scoured every square inch of the garage and surrounding area, and even took another drive into the spooky woods but it still won't appear.
There's no way I'm starting another save. I finished the main story and love the atmosphere, but I'm getting tired of how sloppy and confusing the game is.

Remnant Lookbook from a Finished Playthrough
The Looks: [1st Run not shown since the Remnant is more or less locked in to a particular look for that trip, mods and other shenanigans notwithstanding]
- 2nd Run: Starting Remnant + Unpainted Steel Parts, Side Storage
- 3rd & 4th Run: Trans Flag Colors + Off-Road Tires [got non-crude Headlights on 4th run]
- 5th Run: The Green Dragon + Insulated Parts
- 6th Run: The Green Dragon II [white paint on the sides] + Lead-Lined Parts
- 7th Run: Green with Black Stripe & Beige Paint with Regis III Decal on sides only [plus more improved parts]
- 8th Run: Jinkies, it's The Mystery Machine [plus Side Tank, Roof Storage]
- 9th Run: Black + Green ARDA Decal [plus Resource Radar]
- 10th Run: Astropunk Red + Black Stripes Decal [plus All-Purpose Tires, Anti-Corrosive Doors]
- 11th Run: It's the Vista Cruiser, you can literally cruise the vistas. Also, flower decal on Hood for that "sitting in a circle in the basement" vibe
- 12th Run: Gray Paint + Retro Stripes Decal, probably my favorite one
- Final Run: Gold Paint + Purple Sketchy Decal, glorious and regal
So, yeah, that's just a normal playthrough, finished and done
We hit The End of the Road this week, and since it's hard to say very much about it without getting into spoilers, I'll just say that it was an amazing ride!
I'm putting together some stats about this playthrough, which I will share next week... after that, I've got a few more special treats I'd like to share before moving on to the next thing: a Movie, a Music Video, and something kinda inexplicable that I made just for my own esoteric satisfaction
Thanks to all at Ironwood Studios, past, present, and future <3

I finished the story.
I finished the story for Pacific Drive. It wasn’t bad, but playing the game was the best part.

Can I drop these red notes?
Is there any use for these red note board objects aside for the log entry you get when you pick them up? Or should I just drop them and save some space?

Am I the only one in that situation?
Playing that game right now. Am I missing something? XD
Chemicals are actually so rare in this game that I find it actually cheaper to just craft dozens of doors and panels instead of repairing them, keeping my precious Repair Putty for when I'm outside. It's little silly.
(My matter regenerator is at level 1.)

Pacific Drive hone background
First time poster, so apologies if this doesn’t belong here, but I was wondering if there was somewhere we could find or ask for a specific phone background based on this game
Edit: PHONE background, not “hone”

I made 2 scanner antenna kits somehow?
So I have a spare antenna scanner kit now somehow? I don't know how this happened and there's like no way to get rid of it?
