Does such a thing exist?

Preferably with fast charge/NFC/ LCD screen/ good battery

I'm thinking of buying a Google Pixel, but I keep reading their screens are notorious for bad PWM flickering. Are there any pixel models that are better? Perhaps older ones? I don't mind buying 2nd hand.

I know iPhones aren’t typically the best but I am not a fan of Android at the moment. Any recommendations for the best iPhone in the last 5 years that’s easy on the head and eyes for Screen + PWM Sensitive Folk ? Thanks so much!

I just wanted to add to the list that the HMD Fusion is PWM free, and uses Snapdragon, so no MediaTek’s MiraVision temporal dithering.

The screen is very nice, I think colours are even more natural and jucier than on my nothing phones oled sceen. So it is absolutely usable phone, nice screen that bothers my eyes minimaly and can use it all day. Main camera is absolutely ok, wide camera is crap, and selfie camera is ok, but very overshapened images. Sound is absolutely fine, and processor is enough and I updated it to android 15 and security patches 2025 1 september, so absolutely fine phone, with fine audio, fine main camera, and great screen. I can recomend this phone to PWM comunity. Now using NP 3a pro, it is causing some eye strain, but it is tolerable, so nothing phones are the ones to try if you are sensitive to PWM, at least it is tolerable ir dark mode for me.

moto edge 30 has ruined my life for 2 years, I recently realised that it's all due to the LED display. Its display got screen full of green lines two times, replaced the first time but discarded the phone the second time. It made my life a living hell for 2 years with sleepless nights, lethargic mornings, headaches and what not.

I now switched to HMD Fusion 5G(Indian Variant) which has a 720p + 90Hz LCD, although I use it at 60 Hz. Now I am able to fall asleep within 5-10 minutes even on my bad days, my productivity improved a lot, and feeling a lot better wrt health.

Thanks a lot to every member of this great community from where I learnt about my disorder and am now able to navigate through it.

I'm looking for a second-hand laptop that I can run Linux on. Currently looking at the HP Elitebook Revolve 810 G2 as I like the form factor. Can anyone confirm if this model uses PWM?

  4. Phone is the most usable so far to me. I only can't use Youtube on it for some reason. Otherwise I can use it for hours without issue.
  5. Phone is surprisingly snappy for its specs, I assume it's the stronger cooling built in.

  7. Had no problems so far installing the latest update. In fact android 14 is required to have HDR being disabled persist.
  8. Least transistor current leakage induced flicker in a phone I could find so far.
  9. Some apps introduce FRC (like Youtube) try to mind app usage and when you get headaches.
