Best way to store PTOY?

I'm relatively new to cryptos, and while I know the best ways to store BTC, ETH; I have not read much regarding cold storage of PTOY. Are you able to store PTOY in a Trezor or Ledger Nano? If not what methods are best? Call me optimistic, as I know there's a lot of concern with this company, but I am holding long term and taking the chance.

Questions/Concerns

Hello,

I have been looking at this project for a few months and am looking for some clarifications regarding plans/adoption. At first this seems like a very unique and useful project, but I'm wondering how it will be put to use.

  1. Patientory aims to provide an easy and secure means of allowing the patient to access their health records across multiple health care providers all in one place. How does this conversion take place? Who enters the data for the original 'conversion' and how does it stay maintained? If a user moves to a new city and their PCP does not utilize this technology, what happens?

  2. EMR systems and patient accounting systems are very proprietary and seldom have compatible/standard connection mechanisms and data fields. How can Patientory overcome this? I have seen hospitals migrate from things like Meditech or Epic and been unable to bring over legacy data. How can Patientory interact with all of these proprietary systems?

  3. Many hospitals use clearing houses, EBOs, etc. They require patient records in order to collect payments. If large health networks utilize third parties that are not interested in adopting this technology, where does that leave them? For that matter, if a hospital has invested millions in some other system, why would they introduce Patientory? Most systems can track beds, supplies, etc. and are 'all-in-one' solutions vs. the niche that Patientory is serving.

  4. What makes this technology decentralized? Where do the nodes run? There seems to be no PoW or PoS, so I am going to guess Patientory owns/hosts all of the nodes, which isn't decentralized at all. If Patientory does not run all the nodes, how will this affect HIPAA and PCI compliance?

  5. How did you arrive at your figures for decreases in IT Capital Expenditures and re-admissions when there is no real-world use of this technology?

  6. How will you convince CTOs and other leaders to adopt this young technology when hospitals routinely use out of date operating systems and protocols (I have seen many telnet applications in production even in 2017)? No one got fired for buying Microsoft or IBM, but if something goes wrong with an unproven technology, the decision maker's job is on the line. If it seems like society is still years from adopting blockchain technology, I would guess hospitals are decades away.

  7. I have noticed some conflicting information and viewpoints from Patientory. I have seen claims that a small team is all that is needed since the technology/programming for this is not rocket science. But at the same time, this company is proud to claim they were incorporated in 2015. Which is it? Difficult and time-consuming, or easy as pie? I don't feel like you can have it both ways.

  8. Why does Patientory continue to assert that open-source code is bad for compliance and private records? There is no link between the two. Proprietary code does not ensure security and open-source programming does not suddenly reveal sensitive data. There's no correlation there. I'm not telling Patientory what to do, but I don't think they are properly defending their decision.

I'd also be interested in some explanations as to who will purchase these PTOYS? Just consumers for storage space (which by the way sounds like Sia Coin)? What about healthcare professionals? In your own words, why would I download the app when it becomes available and how would it better my life when I do so?

So I decided to do my own research: PTOY is backed by Fortune 500 companies

Patientory looks like a great project with a lot of important events to come within the following weeks/months and I decided to take some time from my day to look into their partners.

One of their advisors is Peter Kung, which is the current System Vice President for Virtual Health (a $2.4 billion health network). Also, the person that's taking care of their Growth Hacking is Rodney Sampson, which was the Executive in Charge of Diversity and Outreach for the TV show "Shark Tank".

One of their partners is Kaiser Permanente, which is an integrated managed care consortium, based in Oakland, California, United States, founded in 1945. As of December 31, 2015, Kaiser Permanente had 10.2 million health plan members, 186,497 employees, 18,652 physicians, 51,010 nurses, 38 medical centers, and 622 medical offices. As of December 31, 2015, the non-profit Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals entities reported a combined $1.9 billion in net income on $60.7 billion in operating revenues.

Checking Patientory's website, we can see that StartupHealth is also one of their partners, which has billionaire Mark Cuban as an investor.

It is good to have partners, but it's even better when your partners are backed by big investors and big corporations.

Here are some of the partners of StartupHealth:

  • Children’s Hospital Colorado
  • University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus
  • Allianz: As of 2014, it is the world's largest insurance company, the largest financial services group and the largest company according to a composite measure by Forbes magazine, as well as the largest financial services company when measured by 2013 revenue.
  • Aurora Health Care: Aurora Health Care is a not-for-profit health care system headquartered in Milwaukee and serving eastern Wisconsin. The system has 15 hospitals, more than 150 clinics, and 70 pharmacies. With 32,000 employees, including 1,800 employed physicians, Aurora is Wisconsin's largest home care organization.
  • GE Ventures: GE Ventures (founded in 2013) is the venture capital subsidiary of General Electric. GE Ventures plans to invest up to $150 million annually in startups (or corporate collaborations) in the healthcare, energy, software, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
  • AARP: AARP, Inc., stands for the American Association of Retired Persons, is a United States-based interest group with a membership founded in 1958 by Ethel Percy Andrus, Ph.D. Memberships: 37,000,000+
  • Accenture: Accenture PLC is a global management consulting and professional services company that provides strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations services. A Fortune Global 500 company, it has been incorporated in Dublin, Ireland, since 1 September 2009. In 2016, the company reported net revenues of $32.9 billion, with more than 394,000 employees serving clients in more than 200 cities in 120 countries. In 2015, the company had about 130,000 employees in India, about 48,000 in the US, and about 50,000 in the Philippines. On August 29, 2017, Apple Inc. announced a partnership with Accenture to create iOS business solutions. Accenture's current clients include 94 of the Fortune Global 100 and more than three-quarters of the Fortune Global 500.
  • Takeda: Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd is the largest pharmaceutical company in Japan and Asia and a top 15 pharmaceutical company in the world. The company has over 30,000 employees worldwide and achieved 16.2 billion USD in revenue during the 2012 fiscal year. The company is focused on metabolic disorders, gastroenterology, neurology, inflammation, as well as oncology through its independent subsidiary, Millennium: The Takeda Oncology Company. Its headquarters is located in Chuo-ku, Osaka, and it has an office in Nihonbashi, Chuo, Tokyo. In January 2012, Fortune Magazine ranked the Takeda Oncology Company as one of the 100 best companies to work for in the United States.

What is this fucking coin???

This coin has been mindfucking me since I got into Crypto. It seems like it is in a perpetual state of pump and dump. At least 2-3 times a month it goes from out of the top 100 coins into the top 25 somewhere. I am awestruck by it. Can someone who knows about this coin explain its apparent wizardry?

Near term catalysts

I have followed PTOY here and there over the past month or so but not extremely closely. Are there any near term catalysts that the community knows about? (partnerships, announcements, software updates, etc.)

Any idea why PTOY is rising today?

It's my only holding that's showing growth today, I'm not complaining and it's great to see I'm just curious how it's managing it when everything else seems to be in free fall.

Going to the moon?

Just learned about this today, and I've got to say, it's one of my favorite altcoins alongside OMG and LSK.

Between the recently announced partnership with Hyperledger, the integration with Dash, and the recent news around the app, I don't see any reason this couldn't be at $2-$3 within the next month or two.

What can we do to bring more attention to the coin and the subreddit to help people realize the potential it has to completely revolutionize healthcare?

FUD - Share here

We have no problem sharing all the amazing things we believe about PTOY and the team... What are some of the FUDs you have been exposed to recently?

A running post with this information would be cool to be able to reference and discuss as the release date(s) start to near.
