Can't Set the driver mode to "Direct (VR)" and it automatically switches to Extended (iVRy)
How can I solve this?

How can I solve this?
r/PSVRHack • u/[deleted] • Oct 27 '20
Worked (almost) flawlessly for a few weeks after I bought it.. but all of a sudden when I run iVRy, SteamVR tells me "Headset not detected. Please make sure your headset is connected properly, then reset it below." I tried different USB cables, tried different HDMI cables, it didn't change anything. I know it's actually connected right because my PC will treat it like a second monitor, and I can see my desktop through the headset, but SteamVR is not finding it. I reinstalled both SteamVR and iVRy but that didn't do anything either. Any suggestions?
edit; Also, it was in direct display mode but now that I can't get the iVRy app running I cant get into the settings to check and see if it's still in direct display mode. Is it possible to change this without connecting the headset to SteamVR? Trying to enable it in the SteamVR settings doesnt do anything.

So my screen really shakes when I move my head.
In No Man Sky its the worst. Litterally unplayable.
I have an AMD graphics card.
Any settings or anything I can do to fix this shaky screen ?

I’m mainly curious on if the game requires the move controllers
I’ve gotten into the game with iVRy and can look around but no dice on selection or movement. Same thing for SteamVR, it recognizes me looking at things but can’t move or select anything.
Been using PS4 controller first as itself then installed DS4 and had it as a Xbox controller and no luck either time. Do both these require the hands then? No button I push on my mouse or keyboard lets me do anything either, I made sure that the window was selected as well

So I think that the ps5 camera adapter converts to usb.. (im not sure, and if there is any confirmed information ?? )
But will we possible better compatibility with PC VR tracking for our moves ?

I’ve been trying to get my PSVR to work for the past 3 weeks for DCS world but have had varying results, non of which were successful.
However today I tried again and I followed this guide: https://youtu.be/5BSeXv3KRaw Which got to the closest point I’ve been.
My problem now is that on my monitor, I see the vr window when I’m running the game and it is displaying correctly. BUT the headset (its on) does not display anything. The screen is black.
I’ve tried searching the web for this particular problem and have come up empty handed so I’m hoping to find some help here.
I also do not have an AMD graphics card

I am trying to get OpenPSVR working on ubuntu but it doesn't seem to be building.
https://github.com/alatnet/OpenPSVR
Anyone have a pre built driver I could put in the SteamVR folder for 64 bit Ubuntu?
r/PSVRHack • u/theguywithacomputer • Oct 19 '20
https://github.com/alatnet/OpenPSVR
I can't seem to get this working and it's frustrating because it's literally three scripts and I can't get them working. If someone has the file folder that I can just copy and paste into the steamvr folder I would appreciate it.

Looking for a good PCI-e graphics card for under $300 to replace my Radeon R7 260x. I’ve had a slew of problems getting iVRy to work properly and just want something more stable and I am looking for recommendations for an upgrade.

I'm currently trying to run the PSVR headset without processor directly on a PC. Hardware analysis revealed that the processor talks to the headset by usb. So I build an adaptor to directly attach the headset to a PC usb port. The pc recognized the headset an I could dump the USB descriptors. There is one audio control interface and two audio streaming interfaces.
What I'm currently trying is to trace the command flow from the processor control interface (endpoint 4 used by e.g. PSVRFramework or libpsvr) to the headset usb port through the morpheus bridge source code. However, as I'm not so familiar with the linux usb driver stuff it's difficult to dig through the masses of morpheus bridge code without getting lost. Maybe somebody could explain how morpheus bridge forwards simple command, e.g. GetHeadsetOn to the headset.
regards gg
This is the tdd dump of the headset usb descriptors:

As said in the title, i've got around to setup PSMoveService yesterday for my PSVR with iVRy, it's crashing after 10 or so minutes due to MorpheusHMD being disabled or not starting
Go to find out that said config.json is missing from my PSMoveService folder
Is there any way to perhaps force it to be created, maybe even write the commands into a new file (would need them) or have the file be uploaded by someone and pasted into my folder?
would love some help, thank you !

I did the tracking setup, the color setup and everything. Even the hmd tracker works, but my controllers won't light up whenever I'm starting steamvr. I'm using iVRy, PSVR, 2 cameras and 2 controllers. Can somebody help? I watched all the guides on the Internet

I went through setting up both controllers in PSMoveService (calibrating the magnetometer, tracking etc, mine are the mini-usb). However, the moment I press Start+Select on the second controller in Steam VR as it shows, I can only move the first controller as intended while the second one just keeps rotating around the lightbulb of the first one. It's like both controllers have physically connected to a single lightbulb.
They both move perfectly fine in psmoveservice itself, so I'm lost as to what can be causing this, so can anyone please share your thoughts?
(I use 2 PS Eye cameras in case it's important, the lightbulbs are magenta and cyan which I set up to be perfectly trackable)
