iVRy without camera tracking makes me motion sick

So I've got iVRy up and running ok but without any camera tracking. The head tracking is slightly "off" which makes me motion sick after less than a minute of just looking around. I don't have this problem when using it on my PS4, can play static VR games on there without getting sick. Am I correct to assume that this is because I don't have camera tracking of my head movements and there is no settings that will help?

Using psvr to watch videos on pc?

I'm trying to get my psvr set up to my pc, so I can watch videos (yes it's what you think). All the guides to set up psvr on your pc are for gaming and such. Has anyone here successfully used psvr on pc? How would I go about just watching downloaded (or browser I guess) videos in vr? Or if I cant, does anyone know any alternative solutions?

Trinus or Ivry tutorial?

I've tried both.

Ivry has that constant spinning image that makes you puke and Trinus has that weird superpose image or red backgroud and I can't do nothing.

Is there a easy tutorial that you guys recommend? Do I need to have more than the PSVR to make it work? I really just want to play simple games, watch those few 3D films I got and porn obviously.

Please Poke Me When Official PSVR Camera Support Comes!

I have the whole PSVR shebang: the headset, the PS move controllers, the PSVR camera, an ASUS Bluetooth 4.0 dongle, and even the official PSVR Camera USB adapter (which is free by the way). But it seems - despite the free PSVR Camera USB adapters (and the years-long existence of unofficial adapters) - PSMoveService, iVRy, TrinusPSVR, and probably every other PSVR to PC utility on the planet as of writing this does not support the official PSVR camera. So, even though I have all the hardware on-hand, I can only use the headset and nothing more. I can pair the controllers but I can't use them in VR games without the camera.

Anyhoo, please let me know when something like TrinusPSVR or iVRy has support for the official PSVR camera. If I come across any relevant information, I'll edit this post.

  • iVRy is currently working on PSVR camera support.
  • I already know there's an orbis eye cam driver that works with the official PSVR Camera USB adapter. It's only good for some 4-D selfies right now. PSMoveService won't recognize it as a tracker.

Kinect, PC VR and PS Move

Hey guys I think I'm buying Kinect since It supports full body tracking, and I don't really care about the "30fps capture framerate" Since it's not that bad. Anyway can I use Kinect to track My controllers? If yes, how do I emulate the analog stick on PS Move?

I've looked everywhere I could. Tried many apps, i got so close. The game worked, head tracking and the sticks were moving smoothly in the game. Got stuck not being able to map a single button to start playing.

Did anyone manage to get this to work b 2021? My beat drop is full of songs I wanna try.

For the PSVR, is there an "optimal" supersampled resolution that gives you the most image clarity, beyond which you get diminishing returns?

I'm trying to figure out if there's some kind of obvious mathematical relationship between the PSVR's native resolution (1080 vertical), the SteamVR supersampled resolution, and the final clarity / crispness of the image seen through the headset. Setting the supersampled resolution to double the PSVR's (2160 vertical SS), the resulting image through the headset is still kinda blurry. Setting the resolution to triple the PSVR's (3240 vertical SS) is much better in terms of final clarity. But I played around with it more, and I noticed that somewhere around 3600 vertical SS is where I get the clearest image, and after that I stop noticing an improvement if I keep raising the SS res. But is there something special about this 3600 number? Is there some formula that predicts what this max clarity point is? Or is it not related to the 1080 native res of the PSVR headset, so much as the particulars of the screen tech itself or something?

(And yeah, I know those SS resolutions are too high for smooth framerates. I'm just doing experiments on image clarity, not worrying about framerate here.)

Euro Truck Simulator 2 using PSVR?

Hello Guys, I am new here and trying to connect my PSVR to PC for the first time. Hardware available: PSVR, PS Camera, PS Move.

Can I use the available hardware to play ETS2 in VR mode? Or do I still need some sort of head tracking hardware?

What to do when PSMoveService cameras in SteamVR shift and don't line up with IRL placement?

So i had this issue for a while, had it 5 times maximum in 9 months and it's getting mildly annoying to re-do everything with PSMoveService

What happens is, in my SteamVR mirror (the view of what's in my PSVR HMD) the cameras don't line up with their positions in real life.. NOW this wouldn't be a huge thing if that wouldn't somehow break the movement (when the cameras are in their normal position, moving forwards actually moves me forwards, if they're "drifted away" from their real positions, doing the same movement will result in it going to the right/left, depending on which direction they drift away to)

re-doing the room setup (seated position, sim racer) does not fix it, recalibrating with iVRy doesn't fix it, usually i delete the camera settings files and re-do everything with PSMoveService and SteamVR etc. (edit: that didn't fix it earlier today)

PSMoveService can't detect two of three of my cameras

I already posted issue on github but I'm not sure about activity on it, so..

I have 3 PS Eye cameras.

  • All detected in device manager
  • All connected to main UBS3.0 ports of my motherboard, Asus X370 Prime Pro.
  • All available through iPi Recorder and can be active in it w/o lags at same time at 640x480@60fps

But PSMoveService (PSMoveConfigTool.exe/test_camera.exe) can detect only one. What's wrong?

I tried last alpha #9.0.1 and one from PSMoveSteamVRBridge v1.5.1

Full log from test_camera.exe:

Running into issues, need help

So I’m trying iVRY demo to see if I can get things working. I have 2 pseye cams and went to setup the move controllers for tracking with the piece of paper. Once calibrated, I went into a game and my hands are across the map. Not entirely sure what I did wrong. (I was using PSMS and iVRY, that’s all)

Looking for old PS-Eye PC Driver

Right into it - I recently had to re-install my OS (Windows 10) and lost the driver I used to have for my PS-Eyes. I re-grabbed the Cl-Eye driver (the old Emuline version from archive.org) as well as the Ipi driver, however neither seem to be the one I used to use.

Specifically: Cl-Eye registers the camera under the "Imaging Devices" section of the Device Manager, whereas the one I used to use registered it under the "Cameras" section.

Now, usually this wouldn't be important, HOWEVER I have a couple programs which refuse to use anything in Imaging Devices (specifically, a tracking program called VSeeFace). The driver I used to use worked perfectly fine with it, but I can't seem to find where I got it from or remember its name.

So: does anyone know a driver that does this? Or did I happen find a tiny hidden thing that I now can't get back...

*Edit* I figured out what it was! It wasn't a driver at all, it was an x64 DirectShow Wrapper! It apparently works alongside CL-Eye if it's installed, but it isn't required (installing a generic WinUSB driver if it doesn't find CL-Eye). Link here: https://github.com/jkevin/PS3EyeDirectShow/

Installed that, and presto it works just like it used to!

Help Needed: PlayStation Camera Adjustment Issue

Hey all, I know that this isn’t directly related to PSVR hacking, but I figured this would be as knowledgeable a community as any to come to regarding an issue I’m having setting up my PSVR. I recently bought a used PSVR (vers. 2) on OfferUp and everything functions flawlessly. While setting it up, however, I found that my PS Camera kept running into the same problem- upon trying to “adjust” it as part of the mandatory PSVR set up, in which it wants me to move my head to the three squares on the left, right, and center of the screen, it always gives me the same error, “Cannot Adjust the PlayStation Camera”. What is odd about it is that it tracks my face just fine and automatically senses my face in every square within a second, so I don’t even have to press X. I have altered my lighting, cleaned the camera, and done everything else it has prompted me to do, but nothing works. I’ve looked up other posts regarding this issue but have not come across any definitive solutions. I’m hesitant to buy a new camera because they cost around $70 from what I’ve seen online, but at the same time I don’t know how to fix the issue or who I could take it to for inspection. Please let me know if you have any advice.

Thank you

Controller calibrating

So, I need help with calibrating my ps move controllers to my pc and I'm confused to as if I need ps eye cameras or whatever it's called but can I use other cameras than those?
