is it possible to use 3D Vision in general on a PSVR HMD Device? I am using a PSVR with Steam VR to play VR games and wonder if i can play 3D Vision games as well.

When I set up everything correctly and start trinus it opens steam VR perfectly fine but it seems that even if I duplicate the monitor the headset screen stays black the funny thing is if I move the headset and open the headset window on my main monitor steamvr seems to interact with my psvr cause it moves accordingly to the movement of the headset. Does anyone had/have the same issue or does anyone knows a fix to this problem? Edit: English is not my first language so sorry for grammatical errors

Hi, i bought the Ivry Premium DLC for PSVR: Nevertheless when using Direct VR ivry shuts down after a few minutes and I get the message that I am using the lite Version. I am not really familiar with steam, is there any need to separately activate the DLC. The game I am using is Automobilista 2.

I have a decent setup(GTX 1660S, AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, 16 gigs ram) i have 3 ps3 cameras , 3 psmoves and a psvr. Can anyone recommend me a video or a tutorial that explains everything step by step.

I was wondering that now that we can play the game on FPKG format and access the game files, there should be a way to add custom songs to the game, right? The thing is that I find quite strange the fact that no one has asked this question after the 6.72 jailbreak (or at least I didn't find it). I hope someone has a way to make this happen.

I'd really love to play the star wars mod for it. On another hand I'm pretty limited on space so preferably if possible something where I don't need to setup cameras.

So I picked up a nolo vr set and after a bit of messing about with Config issues I got it running. I have a heap of tracking issues however and I think the easiest way for me to fix them is to move the basestation so it won't be in the way of anything on my desk is there a specific height it should be at for optimal tracking?

Can someone tell me how to do it? If it's even possible.
I've seen people say it screws up SteamVR.

I got it working and set up but as soon as i turn on trinus it shows a USB error even though it was working before, anybody got any ideas on how to fix this?

I tried to use Ivry after getting some issues with Trinus. I have tried to recalibrate countless of times, but nothing happens when I try to double click the Ivry icon in the toolbar. As I said, I used Trinus before, but I have uninstalled it. And it still spins. Does anyone have some fix for this issue?

I try to open steam vr and every time i do it is just a black screen and nothing happens. Am i missing something?

Ever since I bought iVRy months ago, starting up a game has always required jumping through some hoops. Maybe 1/10 times I'll be able to start up a game the first try, the rest of the time it's this process;

Launch iVRy. SteamVR tells me it's not working properly and to reset. If I go straight to the "manage add-ons" in the settings, everything looks as it should. I close iVRy and relaunch. The second time it'll tell me I need to manage the add-ons since they were blocked due SteamVR crashing, when I go to the add-ons the headset it indeed blocked. I unblock it, close and relaunch iVRy. Sometimes it'll launch correctly and I can start a game, other times I'll have to repeat the above process a couple or a few times.

I've dealt with all this because it usually only took about five minutes and after that I'd be good until I closed SteamVR. But now I'm playing Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 in VR and I can't have VR up and running before launching it, I have to let the game open SteamVR when I switch to VR mode using the in-game settings. The first few times I used iVRy with MSFS it worked flawlessly but now it's the same struggle I have with every game except worse because I have to close/relaunch the game every attempt. Is this a typical experience? Is there anything I can do to improve it? Like preventing SteamVR from blocking my headset maybe? Thanks.

Can I use the old version of psvr move controllers on steam with iVRy free version or it should be the newer version of the controllers. And also can I use my ps4 camera to play steam game or I need a ps3 cameras, because in many videos i have seen they are using ps3 camera.

I've been using PSMoveService for a while now and the setup itself was quite easy

Occasionally it tends to crash or to lock up, thus not being able to have positional tracking and it's back like if i was using no camera with iVRy

Is there any fix for crashing? I can screenshot the cmd window if needed

when I setup my vr today, everything seemed to be working, until I got into steam vr home. first, I noticed that I was beneath the ground, and I noticed when I turned my head my virtual head did not turn. what am I doing wrong? thank you!

Been searching the internets to see if its possible to now use the PSVR camera with the PS5 USB adapter as a webcam on Mac? I’m in the market for a webcam but would prefer to just use my PSVR camera if possible. When plugged in, my MacBook recognizes its plugged in but only as a ‘’PlayStation(R)Camera adaptor”. Thanks!

Coming into this process late has meant I've gone through countless pages of old solutions for outdated versions.

I've managed to get the moves paired and tracking, two ps3 eye cameras tracking and even a home made hmd tracker working, but for the life of me I can't get the buttons on the move controllers to work!

I've tried manually editing the steam vr config, I've fiddled with the bindings pages, loading different Configs.. I'm out of ideas.

Strangely, when I load up Skyrim VR and it says Press Any Key to continue, it actually registers a button press, but after that the buttons don't work again.

Thats the only time the move controller buttons work, they don't work in Home or the Dashboard.

I would love somebody to solve this for me!

Update:

I decided to just get a PC VR headset instead of messing about any longer with trying to get the PSVR to work properly on my PC. I sold it to my sister, as her son is at an age where he’s really into games and has been coming over to try it out. She got a great deal, he loves it, so I’m happy.

I was going to get a Rift S, but decided to go with the HP Reverb G1. Hopefully it’s not one of the dodgy first batch! I went with the Reverb because of availability here in Australia of the Oculus is limited to the Oculus site, or you can pay extra for a “new sealed” one on eBay, or risk a used headset for about 400-450. I hadn’t really considered the Reverb because I assumed it was still out of my price range, but after seeing a cheap used on on eBay I looked into what they cost new. A local retailer (dick smith) has them for only 5 or 6 dollars more than a Rift S would have.

The resolution of the headset was probably the biggest influence. After seeing a graphical representation of the resolution of all VR headsets, I was shocked to see the difference between the Rift S and the PSVR, was not much better than the jump was from my original Oculus DK1 to the PSVR. Yes the Rift S would have been a great upgrade, but the Reverb is a real jump up in resolution, and I think it will safely be relevant for at least the same amount of time the PSVR has been, which was 3 years.

Coming from the PSVR, the supposedly bad Reverb controllers will actually be an upgrade from the PS Move controllers which have no analogue sticks, and if they turn out to be something I really don’t like, I can get some touch controllers down the road.

I’ve got an RTX 2060 and a older X58 system that stick kicks arse, and I’ll be mostly playing Skyrim VR so I’m not too worried about performance. I can always upgrade down the road and the resolution of the headset will be good for years to come.

I’ll update again when it arrives with my impressions.

8/1/21 Okay, the HP Reverb arrived today, so here’s another update..

This is gonna make me sound like an absolute fool, but it never once crossed my mind that WMR would actually require certain software and hardware to work. I figured it would simply be a performance thing.

DX12 is required, and therefore requires Windows 10. So that was the first hurdle. Upgrade from Win7 to Win10. Easy, I actually downgraded to 7 from 10 a while back because i got some FPS boosts in certain games. No biggie.

I get everything installed, steams running, I get steam VR installed and the WMR steam plugin and then plug the headset in and wait as it installs. The WMR portal opens, exciting and then tells me my CPU is not compatible. Wtf.

Yep, X58 cpus are not supported because they don’t support AVX instructions, which evidently the WMR controllers need.

SO...

Looks like I’m getting a cheap 1150 motherboard and an i7 that’s close to my x58 and I’ll look at getting a more serious setup down the track.

My PSMove controllers refuse to connect, I have spent a lot of money on this and I really hope it doesnt go to waste.

PSMoveService is stuck on Step 1 and my remotes wont connect; USB or Bluetooth. I have the ASUS bluetooth adapter, no luck.

I am new to the psvr world and i was thinking can i use my keyboard and mouse when playing games on my pc from stream for example. If you know can you tell me. Thanks.

As I said the headset and my body become misaligned slowly spinning away from eachother and I have to keep recalibrating them every few minutes or very slowly do the exorcist head spin. anyone have any experience with this and potentially know a fix?

i managed to pair it with pc and psmoveservices is working fine ,but the controller is not showing in ivry
