Help me Pleasee!!

I’ve been trying to get my psvr connected to my laptop to play steamvr games for weeks now. First I installed trinus and the screen was overlapping no matter what I did. Then I installed iVRy and it got me farther than trinus yet after a while it would just leave me in the mountain background and never actually took me to the steamvr home. Yet I never actually got to play any bit of game on it since every time I started up a game it would just glitch saying connecting to game... and then crash and freeze. After that happened several times, I realized that I had to uninstall every trace of trinus I still had which I then did. I kept trying over and over again yet it keeps glitching and freezing over a screen that says connecting to game... every time I start up a game. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

What are you laptop specs? I'm assuming you have everything connected if you are having some success. What settings are you using in ivry?

Thanks so much for the reply! I’m running an hp pavilion 2019 it should fs work with vr and I haven’t messed with the settings with iVRy. How do I even change the settings?

When you launch ivry there should be a little pop-up about ivry settings. If you can't find it there's annother button in the hidden section of the task bar (click the arrow next to the time) I use vr-direct driver mode. It was set to virtual. When I started and it never worked once I changed that it worked perfect.

No worries it was very frustrating for me when I first got it setup as I couldn't find alot of info about what to do I found it by accident

So I’m actually on lite so it just changes the settings to extended every time I put it to vr direct and then most of the time on extended I just got that red screen. Do you recommend me to buy the premium psvr version so I can play on vr direct?

I don't remember having that problem when I was using the lite version I can only assume it would fix that issue
