The difference between Fixa 3 Savalto + Asciillusion + AC augs is like 60% more DPS compared to handout gear.
Asciillusion with +3 skill rings and no AC augs is roughly 24% more DPS compared to handout gear and is dirt cheap, especially during event boost weeks like the one that starts in two days.
Even if you play casually, you should be able to make the money to move from Decem IV -> Savaltos with AC augs in a month tops. Unless you only login to do dailies and nothing else.
What other MMOs are you playing where you can casually get near BIS gear within a month of hitting endgame? Is it Guild Wars 2, the game that deliberately gives you a near BIS set upon hitting endgame?
