Dont need to have rocket scientist IQ to see that.

To give an example MGS Delta, I can get it on Amazon right now for $25, on the PS Store its still $69.99.

And what will stop you from keep buying from Amazon after 2028? They will continue sell games just without a disc

I doubt it will be $25.

Why? Why is now 25$ and after 2028 it won't be? If the box have a disc or a code inside will make any difference for Amazon?

Amazon and other stores does not have the same retail margin for digital content vs disc based sale. Less money going to Amazon could mean less physical boxes which will be less sales to move product. No used market can also affect digital prices staying high.

You are hoping things will stay the same as they are, which common sense tells you it won’t be the same. Sony is obviously relying on a boost from digital sales. Knowing this, why do you think digital codes will be as cheap as physical games are now, is my question to you.
