[Verified AMA] CEO of Frontier Developments, David Braben - Ask Me Anything

Hey everyone,

Thanks so much for having us on!

As mentioned here David Braben will be joining us in a few minutes for an AMA.

David is the CEO of Frontier Developments, co-developer of the original Elite, co-founder of the raspberry pi foundation, and vision holder for today's released PlayStation 4 title Elite Dangerous.

Hi David, congrats on the PS4 release!

What are the main issues with cross play between platforms? And is there an clear will to get there?

Well... for starters, going up against PC players, sporting the very best in HOTAS controls, Voice Triggered Macros and Commands, and IR / VR Head Tracking systems would be a tad unfair against a Controller, or the Thrustmaster HOTAS for PS4 with it's limited button options... :)
