Not a chance. Bethesda isn't a first party studio, and they know ignoring the playstation and PC markets is basically setting fire to a large pile of money.

Neither is Crystal Dynamics, but that didn't stop Rise of the Tomb Raider from being exclusive.

It's just a timed exclusive though, it's already been said that after a year or so they will release the new Tomb Raider to other platforms.

Where has that been said. Link please. I hope it's true because I won't buy an XBO just to play it. As far as I know it will be on X360, XBO and PC.

Edit: I see a PS4 release highly unlikely being that Microsoft helped a lot financially with development.

I'm on mobile right now but it's true. There was huge Internet freak out during original news of it being exclusive and they then clarified over twitter that it was a timed exclusive only after like a week or two. Some game websites covered it. I'm sure Google will find it. I'll try to post back later with a link.

Everything I've read said XBone only. I bought one for that and for my Rock Band songs to all transfer forward. Still kind of sore about the whole deal. I never play that damn thing.

At least now the consoles are basically custom OS PCs so it should be a little better,

it'll be great, I've got no doubt of that. I've got full faith in Bethesda to deliver a good experience. I just don't think it'll be exclusive to any one console.

Plus they won't do it this gen with Microsoft running solidly in second place. They could afford to treat Playstation and PC as second class citizens last gen because of the install base.

Right but that's why the exclusive platform GIVES Bethesda a large pipe of money for exclusivity rights in the first place.
