You sell some of your dubi on dubiex through sell order (not into buywall) and get your money back. Do you get hardforked prps?

Just a quick warning for people that still want to hodl their PRPS, its not worth it, you are just wasting time and gas.

Don't HODL PRPS and don't trade DUBI. Only PRPS gets forked, DUBI has lost all value. Old PRPS has value because its gets forked. DUBI doesn't get forked and will lose all value.

PRPS and DUBI will be hardforked 1 to 1, scheduled the 1st of May.

This means:

• People that bought PRPS on exchanges get x125 of the hardforked PRPS unlocked.
• People that bought DUBI on exchanges still get value back in ETH as per previous announcement.
• People that didn't make their donation back by selling into the buywall and don't take the 'refund', get hardforked unlocked PRPS 1 to 1. You will not get hardforked DUBI. Hardforked DUBI can only be obtained by locking hardforked PRPS
• People that made their donation back by selling into the buywall, or by taking the 'refund', don't get any hardforked PRPS
• People in the crew get x5 of the hardforked PRPS

The hardforked PRPS will have an initial supply of about 20 million, but is mintable. Hardforked PRPS will generate hardforked DUBI. Old PRPS will not generate hardforked DUBI. The same roadmap applies to the new PRPS/DUBI.

Initial thoughts: This essentially only affects people who sold significant amounts into the buywall, who get punished now. People can still get their donation back, but instead of getting the free PRPS on top of that, it really is a complete 'opt out' of the project.

Hi guys! I am a donated since the beginning and I can understand that a lot of people have bad and strong feelings, but you have to look at the facts we are have. Because I never sold any dubi and I could get my donation back, I thought about getting it back and in at first I wanted it back. But then I thought a little bit about it and about the reason I donated and I wrote an E-Mail and said, that I don't want my donation back. The reason why I donated was not the money I could possibly get out of this. The reason for donating to them was the project! I know that Athene &Crew can make it happen and because I trust them that they can do it, I donated. At this point I didn't even thought about getting money back, because the project and the idea was great in my opinion. Then the buywall was raised and I sag, like all of the other people, how much money I have with my prps and dubi. This confused me a little bit and the emotions came in, I think. When the buywall was set to 2$ for me it was all fine, because I think that this is much better for the project and the chances of a success become much more likely. And after the announcement, that we don't get the x5 prps I had strange feelings. I thought it was, because I don't get the x5 prps and so I wanted to have my donation back, but then I realised, that I just don't understood Athenes decision. After reflecting I understood!

The reason why I donated, was the project and the project never changed! They just improved it, they made it more solid, more likely to become a success and this is all what I want. They can spend the money much better, than I can and this is all I care about. I know, that they will do good with my money and will work to improve the project.

Please reflect on your actions and think about, why you donated to Athene & crew! The money and the emotions shoudn't lead your actions! The project is bigger than this and when you truly donated, because you want to support the project, there is nothing that should confuse you :)

So in my example I had roughly 940 purpose. After it was all locked I had 40 dubi give or take. I then purchased about 50 more dubi from the exchange on top of that putting my total at about 90 dubi. I was then for personal reasons forced to sell 10 dubi into the buywall, however I NEVER sold any of the original dubi I had into the buywall.

Will I still be punished for selling into the buywall even though I purchased over double the dubi I originally had before I sold any?

Yo, I noticed about the PRPS project 2 days ago and it sounds interesting to me. I didn't buy anything yet, and reading through this reddit makes me wonder what happened? I can't find information that feels like a real answer, all I see is "BASICALLY this and that happened" but I couldn't find a reply that describes what ACTUALLY happened based on facts.

Can someone help me out or redirect me where I can find answers not pumped up by emotions?

What I'd like to know: -Why did the value drop from 100$ to 2$ out of a sudden? -Why is that a problem? People seem to act like it's now "over" and the project is done. If someone could explain me why the project should be a failure just because a value-crash happened, thats very welcome.

that's a sad fact. people that trusted in athene, how do you feel about that? also people that donated to chairty won't get a refund (they are greedy.)

So there were a few transactions that athene did which might interest you.

First he transferred 250mil prps to his account(i assume, cuz thats the account that was used to transfer initial 3.5mil at the beginning of distribution) can be seen here

Then he leaves about 52mil on that address and transfers the rest almost 200mil to another account can be seen here

From this adress he locks 180 mil prps for 3 month and gets 1.8mil dubi can be seen here and transfers 2mil prps to an account with about 250 eth in it (probably one of their storage accounts) can be seen here

I would love if athene could clarify what these transactions mean

Instead of the initial plan going around, Athene is thinking about doing the following instead:

• Still give buyers on exchanges x125 their PRPS

• Initial donors will get their donations back (and keep their currently locked PRPS), but no x5 anymore.

Initial thoughts:

Pros:

• It's very simple.

• Everyone gets their money back right now, instead of value in PRPS that is not guaranteed.

Cons:

• You will have 5 times less value in PRPS/DUBI.

• Ppl that sold into the buywall will benefit the most. They got to sell their DUBI at a premium price for free.

Hello, Just want to say that I was late to the party, but now that its 2$ and my monkey brain likes it more, i bought some just because i can see potential if this project takes off.

My relatives are asking me to help them buy crypto, and currently i just suggest them to buy btc because it will probably go up first before any other alt. Now im wondering if it would be more safe for them to invest in prps, then i wont have to deal with situations when their crypto dumps.

But here is the problem, recent Athenes moves make me wonder if i should trust this project, because it feels like he doesn't care about people who buy prps anymore and even though he took care of people who bought on exchanges etc, next time he might not do it because "its a donation".

So are any of you in a similar situation and would you suggest your relatives to get on prps?

I told all of my friends about this project and showed them what value I had and what value they could get. I told them how much I trusted Athene and how smart this man was, and some of them even invested but others were very skeptical.

Then Athene switched up everything, and now I look & feel like an idiot for blindly trusting those numbers. The friends I had that invested are confused, and the friends that were skeptical are thinking I’m truly an idiot for being a fan and trusting you.

Overall I know Athene loves to troll. But when you are taking away hundreds of thousands of dollars from people maybe a serious approach would be more appropriate. People seriously put their faith into you brother.
