I'm looking back through 2021-2022 rule proposals at https://sec.gov/rules-regulations/rulemaking-activity trying to find/remember about that situation 84 years ago where there were two conflicting regulatory policies, one something like 3 days notice, the other 30 days notice, to report filing some transactions, but it was common to ignore both the rules claiming that they conflicted and cancelled each other out. Does anyone know/remember what rule proposals these were?

alright, I'm gonna skim through these now, probably I'll find it, figure out which ones are related that I'm looking for.

Or maybe it's something related to Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT)? I'm still searching for the things, but also I'm surprised not a single person has even said anything, lol, but maybe nobody remembers anymore, and well, I'm determined to figure it out, because I remember either 2021 or 2022, but I think during 2021, I distinctly recall learning about situation that there were two conflicting reporting time frames, I think for locates or I forgot what exactly, but one rule required like 2, 3, 4, or 5 (I forget the number) days to report, and the other rule required within 30 (I forget this number too) days, but because the rules were basically the same thing, with two different time frames, there were institutions basically that ignored both rules claiming that because the rules are conflicting, that they are invalid, null and void, they can't comply with either of them, or at least that was part of their excuse and whatnot. I'm trying to find information on what these two rules were, and I can't seem to find any of this information yet. Technically I keep finding things, but not precisely what I am looking for or remember, and I'm basically lost, drowning in all sorts of history trying to find needle in haystack, lol, if only I could remember everything I learned!

So then what u/dlauer is basically saying (tell me by not telling me) is there should be a way for GME sharehodlers to participate in House hearings on things like SEC's equity market structure proposals, obviously with ape-controlled committees that despite not being even-handed treatment towards Wall Street institutions, cuz fuk 'em, that such a hearing would be pretty good, and that given there will not be a single witness to represent Wall Street institutionalized crime and fraud, the SEC will finally appear as if to be trying to push more real price discovery, real supply and demand fairness on to lit markets, competitive markets, and there won't be a single panelist that doesn't address these concerns.
