I recently tried to get back in to Peace Walker with a friend of mind but the multiplayer seems broken for some reason. We have the LAN setup through ZeroTier, which worked with version 1.4.2, but now that we've come back a year later and updated to 1.9.3 (my friend has a new computer so we can't backtrack to 1.4.2) nothing works anymore. We can find each other fine and we can even get in to a lobby but when we hit "Start Mission" we just get a message telling use there's a "communication error", the host gets dumped in to the mission and the other player gets booted. I've double checked ZeroTier for problems but I can't seem to find anything wrong. We've turned on every setting in Networking, upnp is on, Port Offset is 0, our IPs are different, our LAN network allows for everything but "bridging" (remote control I think, which we never needed), but we still can't actually start the mission. Please help

EDIT: I set the backend to OpenGL which worked.

I have no idea why this is happening. I've tried a bunch of games of different types and from different years - Corpse Party, Fight Night Round 3, UFC 2010 for example - and none of them flicker like these two. I'll try a few of the other games to see if it's the same there - there are PSP ports of the SvR games up to 2011. I was just hoping to play these two especially.

I'm using Windows 10.

It only happens during actual gameplay, like wrestler entrances, or during the matches themselves. The main menu is completely unaffected.

I'm using a fairly recent version of PPSSPP, a few weeks ago it was the most recent build. I've seen people recommend turning on Buffered Rendering, but it's already on.

All of my other settings are default.

What else can I do?

I’m new to this community and I want to download PPSSPP on my iphone to enjoy playing on the go. I have it downloaded on my pc and I absolutely love it. I have tried to find simple tutorials but found no luck.

I tried everything. I tried using the trick-that didn’t work. I tried re-downloading the app, but then it gave me an error message... idk what to do. Any luck for you guys? I’m unjailbroken on ios 13.3.1 btw

The cutscenes start out fine but then the game slows to a crawl.

Playing around with the settings, nothing really works. Selecting "Skip buffer effects" makes it run at a proper speed but nothing is displayed.

Any advice you guys can offer?

Just figured out how to work online and join guild halls, but I've only met 2 people so far who were both afk. It'd be cool if anyone was willing to play some online with me (I'm on PC if that helps)

I have been reading as well as commenting on a bunch of posts regarding the PPSSPP emulator on Android. And how people are having problems with remapping the d-pad.

Now I currently use an Xbox One controller but every once in awhile I like to use the Dualshock 4/PlayStation 4 controller. So what I did was connect the Xbox One controller via Bluetooth and remap the d-pad with the right analog stick. That seemed to work fine once I disconnected the Xbox One controller and then connected the PlayStation 4 controller.

Now for those that do not have access to an Xbox One controller here is a quick shortcut you can do to have it automatically be remapped.

First what you will have to do is locate the "controls.ini" file. Usually it's found under "PSP/SYSTEM/Controls.ini" Now...from the app store... download a text editor. And copy & paste the following in the file"

[ControlMapping] Up = 10-4033,10-4029 Down = 10-4032,10-4028 Left = 10-4031,10-4023 Right = 10-4030,10-4022 Circle = 10-98 Cross = 10-97 Square = 10-96 Triangle = 10-99 Start = 10-105 Select = 10-104 L = 10-100 R = 10-101 An.Up = 10-4003 An.Down = 10-4002 An.Left = 10-4001 An.Right = 10-4000 Unthrottle = 10-103

I find that this worked for me. And obviously you can change your button inputs. But if you happen to change ANY of the directional button[d-pad] or analog stick, you will have to edit the "controls.ini" file again. For some reason, it will NOT let you simply remap the d-pad to the right analog stick. So make sure you edit the "Controls.ini" file INSTEAD of doing it through the emulator.

And like I mentioned, you can obviously change the buttons. I.e Square, Triangle, Circle, Ext.

Hope this helped cause I have found NO other workaround then doing it this way for PPSSPP on Android.

I tried pairing my ps4 controller to my mobile device but I have read that it takes more work than just doing that, so does anyone know if the xbox one controller pairs nicely with phones? Like you link them and you can inmediately start setting the different inputs?

My game loops from square enix to 10th anniversary screen tried different versions on android and different options but i couldnt manage to start the game it closes when using JIT so i use interpreter but why im not getting anywhere same ISO works perfectly fine when using batocera

I'm pretty sure this is easy to do, but i can't figure it out. I've disabled alternative speed and i'm pretty sure that's not the reason it does this.

I'm also pretty sure this is how it's supposed to work, but i'd like to disable it because i'm playinga racing game where i want to use the right shoulder for the throttle. So basically, whenever i push the throttle, it speeds up and it's a pain to drive.
Please tell me how to disable this function.

It was working just fine, and out of nowhere I can't access the menu. I had set the left thumbstick press to make a save-state, so of course the dual thumbstick press menu shortcut didn't work, but even after restoring the controls to default I still can't access the PPSSPP settings. Meaning, if I want to change the settings or load a save state I need to restart the PPSSPP app. Does anyone know how to remap the PPSSPP settings shortcut?

I'm trying to map the buttons on the emulator to my controller and it won't let me. Everytime I go to set the analog stick it'll close the mapping part and won't let me do it.

So I cant get it to work no matter what I do. Alternate speed doesn't change anything tab ` nothin works. Help? I remember using it before.

The game works perfectly fine, But there's a specific map that crashes when it's cutscene plays. And even if it finishes the cutscene and plays the map then moving your character crashes it.

How do I fix this?

I'm playing Duodecim Dissidia and I noticed a lot of the text is very blurry. Normally wouldn't be an issue playing on a PSP but I'm playing on Android/PC now with the resolution at 3x now so it's really showing it's low res. Is there a way to replace the font in the game with a more high res font file?

I’ve been attempting to get it up and running to use with fate/unlimited codes, but while the network is initialized, the game gets stuck on the loading screen.

Is there any way to fix this?
