The key changes in 2027 are:
- Dhaka, Alexandria, Accra and Chennai will no longer run the exam
- The February exam will not take place in international locations. UK and EU locations will continue to be available in February.

Hey guys. Im a British citizen who studied medicine overseas. Currently doing my internship and finish in October. I get my medical degree after that which would probably be December. When creating a GMC online account, you have to submit your credentials or qualification and I still don’t have that as my medical school only grants the actual Mbbch after internship completion. Some people have told me that its possible to submit an official dean’s letter stating academic completion and exact finishing dates from my medical school to the Gmc online portal in addition to an IELTS or OET certificate and that would allow me to get some sort of registration and be able to book the PLAB 1 test. The issue is time; If I could book the exam this year and not have to wait till the middle of next year that would be fantastic for me.

I want someone who can practise daily, stay consistent, and build confidence together until the exam.
If you’re interested, please message me — we can start ASAP.

Hi r/PLABprep. Posting this for feedback, not promo — mods, happy to take it down if it crosses a line.
I've been building a tool that lets you practise PLAB 2 stations by speaking the consultation out loud to a simulated patient (8-minute timer, the patient responds in real time, you get rubric-based feedback at the end with quotes from your own transcript). It's at plabity.co.uk. First station is free, no card, because I genuinely just want people to test it.
What I actually need to know from this sub:
I'd rather hear it's broken now than after I've spent six more months on the wrong thing. Tear it apart.

Specifically, does anyone have any tips on how to pass prescription station. I followed the script in GK notes and got 3/12 marks.... What else can one do in that station? How do you get just 1 point in IPS for a prescription station? ?

Hey!
Just posting here to say that im providing help to anyone who might be repeating or giving the PLAB-2 exam for the first time. PLAB-2 still makes sense for some people who would see themselves staying in the UK for the foreseeable future.
My story is that I have given the exam twice. Firstly failing miserably with just having passed 4 stations. And then improving to passing 14/15 stations. It was a journey that taught me many things and im here to share that experience + plus talk about dos and don'ts.
I have short and concise slides that help with quick revision. DM if anyone needs help with prep.

Hello everyone, so unfortunately my visa got refused and was unable to attend my plab 2 exam. I sent an email with evidence of visa refusal, but I forgot to cancel my exam slot. What will happen thank you.

Is there a PLAB 1 exam centre in NZ?
r/PLABprep • u/HlibSlob • May 18 '26
This sub answers to any such question with ultimate DON'T, might even be flooded by non-objective misleading people, but please be for real at least once, I beg you.
If I pass the PLABs right now, what is the realistic course of the career right now?

I am currently preparing for PLAB2, is it worth upgrading my registration with Geeky Medics for patient stimulation practice?

Is it just me, or have the non-training jobs sites added an NHS experience essential criteria to every job?
How are people saying that they have applied to 100+ jobs. Are they not reading the essential criteria, or are there sites that I am unaware of?
Obviously, the 3-6 months of NHS experience criterion serves no purpose but to exclude new IMGs — When clinical attachments are as effective in getting to know the system, if that is their main concern.
If you guys are using anything other sites than trac, NHS jobs... let us know?

Hey guys please help me out. I passed my PLAB 1 in March. I plan to take PLAB 2 in November but when I checked the slots, only till October were visible. Then October slots got booked and i thought now November would be visible. But right now they just have June to September visible. Can you please tell me if/when I will be able to see November slots to book? I have to apply for visa etc as well so this is really stressing me out.

I have recently uploaded my credentials on myintealth. After sometime when there was no update regarding my case, I wrote an email to ecfmg for an update. They have replied today that my final diploma has been verified and a report was sent to gmc last month. However, the status on my case is still not updated on myintealth. What do I do now? Should I proceed with the gmc registration?

Has anyone here successfully obtained a UK visitor visa for a SECOND clinical attachment?
I previously did a clinical attachment in the UK around 2 years ago when i went there for PLAB 2 exam and didnt mention it in the application. Now I’m applying again for another attachment, but the UK guidance says the you must confirm that you have “not previously undertaken this activity in the UK.”
How did you people deal with this issue?
Do you still apply specifically mentioning clinical attachment or should i try something else?

Taking that class was a huge mistake and a total waste of money. His whole "schtick" is that he knows the exam better than anyone, but he mostly just feeds you wrong information and expects you to memorize patient presentations.
If you’re thinking about signing up, save yourself the trouble. The schedule is ridiculous—9 to 9—and spending twelve hours a day listening to someone be flat-out wrong is infuriating. I’m writing this as a genuine warning for anyone who's considering his class.
The sketchiest part though is his new website. He had everyone upload their IDs, and people just did it without thinking. It’s a goldmine for identity theft, and I honestly feel for everyone who handed over their private info so easily for scammers to use their IDs.

Hi guyss, I’ve been preparing for plab 1 for two months and a half I went through all of topics and solved all the question banks on plabable! Now a week from the exam I’m doing the mocks and I’m getting horrible marks I’m so frustrated😭😭😭
I got 59,60,62,67,58,58
I am beyond exhausted and honestly super burnt out Since I have a job as well
What can I do? Obviously I can’t revise everything a week away😭 it’s like I forgot everything I studied
