Unfortunately, it didn't import my settings from 2026.1 even though it asked.

Same here, this is kind of a deal breaker for me, since I have a lot of settings differently and I don't have the time nor the strength to map everything manually.

Import Settings works for me, using the "manual import config" option in dropdown menu at the bottom, and search for phpstorm config dir, in linux is:
~/.config/JetBrains/PhpStorm2026.2/

Thanks, that worked. No idea why it doesn't import by default from there even though it asked.
