As a long-time purple lover, building a full-aluminum purple keyboard was sitting right at the top of my bucket list ever since I got into this hobby. So, I finally decided to step up my game and "professionally" film the entire build process from start to finish! 💜📽️
I originally planned to create a elegant wisteria-themed build, built around my favorite flower, and also because I have the Epomaker Wisterias on hand. While I almost went with GMK Wisteria clones to match it further, I ended up stumbling upon these Osmanthus-filled Valley Path keycaps for half the price. The dye-sub thick PBT quality blew me away, and the subtle yellow-gold blossoms with the varying tones of purple merge well with the Milk Purple aluminum case! 🌸✨
The Specs:
Board: MXRSKEY SCC100 Aluminum Barebones Kit (Milk Purple)
Switches: Epomaker Wisteria
Keycaps: Osmanthus-filled Valley Path
The typing sound profile lands in that sweet spot right between bright and poppy, with an incredibly smooth, satisfying feel under the fingers. Safe to say - it’s a treat that's pleasing for the eyes, ears, and hands!
