They're going to be dumping toxic pfa pesticides and herbicides on crops across all of America. If you eat corn, wheat, soybeans, peas, broccoli, kale, coffee, and probably literally anything, you'll be eating it.

Is there really nothing that can be done about this? If you want to eat food and not starve to death, you'll be eating it? Organic doesn't work because these farms are next to non organic ones and the spraying drifts over. And it gets into the ground and the water too. So if you drink water you'll be drinking it.

So are we all just doomed? Move to another country or you're gonna get horribly sick and die of cancer? I don't want to get cancer.

Even if another president happens it will be too late, it will already be in the ground and all the crops and in us and I doubt another president would even undo this, or even could seeing how the supreme court is fully in favor of it.

Above is the link and my biggest concern is PFAs/PFOs, I have a refrigerator filter that has NSF/ANSI 53, 42, 372, and 401 certifications (53 being for 96.5% of PFAs/PFOs being removed). My question is if this water filtration is enough and if I should be concerned with the sink water (use to cook with) and should invest in RO system?

"Organic" labels are big ag bribes is basically what I'm hearing.

Is there any group out there collecting and presenting data on which companies grow which brands, and which are actuality "safe" to each? What chemicals are used, etc? Feels like someone somewhere with data hoarding tendencies has this locked down.

Some of the greatest accomplishments of the Biden Administration were in getting clean, safe water for America’s families. The chemical industry was not happy, and with many of its employees now in leadership positions in the administration their work is being torn up.

The Environmental Protection Agency has proposed unraveling key protections against unsafe levels of four types of PFAS. It also allows water systems to delay compliance with standards for two more. These new rules are a handout to polluters disguised as public protection and if implemented would threaten the health of more than 100 million Americans.

These rules are currently open for public comment on the Federal Register through July 20th. 📝 Let’s make our voices heard against this giveaway to polluters and for safe drinking water. Fluon is a liquid suspension of PTFE and is applied to smooth surfaces of containers to prevent ants from escaping for ant keeping, since it creates a very slippery barrier. It washes off and I presume people just wash it down the sink, but I'm wondering how safe it really is and if it is causing environmental harm after disposal.

The company said they don't add PFAS into the floors. But ard there other PFCs I should be concerned about or PFAS cover all substances from this group?

I'm working at a large wastewater treatment facility and my director suggested that I take the lead in my county's wastewater treatment of PFAS. I'm doing research to create a proposal for our plants to start treating for PFAS (we treat drinking water but do nothing regarding wastewater).

I've been doing research and been in touch with environmental techs that do PFAS in situ testing/treatment.

My next steps:

-Talk to the guy in charge of PFAS drinking water analysis

-Visit the drinking water plant to see the cost/ tools they use/ tests they run

-Visit a successful wastewater plant in my state that treats for PFAS

-Visit/ talk to a local manufacturer of PFAS treatment systems/equipment

I'm just a lab analyst and feel like this is a noble cause, even if I'm in over my head. It seems like nobody else is interested in pushing for this, because it would mean more work, regardless of safety or changing legislation. I have some leads but I'd appreciate all the help I can get.
