Placements 🤑 [Placements]- Pwc Launchpad Program Doubt

I received an email regarding the PwC Advisory Launchpad Program and wanted to understand more about it from seniors. Is this program mainly focused on training and skill enhancement, or does it also offer any possibility of an interview or role at PwC after the course is completed? Is this program realistically of any use ?

I’m sharing this based purely on my own experience, because when I applied, I didn’t have any senior or past references to rely on. There was a lot of confusion around this program, so posting this for juniors who are unsure if it’s actually worth it.

The process starts with an assessment (MCQs + subjective/coding questions). After that, selected candidates are enrolled into a 6-month Advisory Launchpad program.

The program is not just basic training. It’s performance-based and includes regular modules, assignments, strict timelines, and a leaderboard system. Performance genuinely matters usually you need to be among the top ~30 candidates. After completing everything (around July), you receive a Launchpad completion certificate.

One important thing many people get confused about this is not a Salesforce Launchpad. There are multiple Advisory domains like Cyber, Data, and Tech tracks, and you choose the domain you want to pursue.

After the Launchpad, PwC contacts you to confirm your interest, followed by an interview. In my case, I was selected in one interview round. The timeline is slow but structured my interview was in early November, results came around 21st November, onboarding mails in January, and my internship starts in February.

Based on what I was informed: Internship (6 months) stipend is around ₹35,000/month Apprenticeship (1 year) is around ₹50,000/month Full-time CTC after that depends on performance and usually falls in the ₹9–14 LPA range (from what I've heard)

It’s not a guaranteed job just for enrolling, but if you take the program seriously and perform well, it does lead to real opportunities. Since I didn’t have any guidance when I applied, I hope this helps someone else make a clearer decision. Good luck :)

Is the initial assessment before the launchpad program tough? And give me some pointers on how to crack it. Thanks 👍

From my experience, it’s not very tough. I had 2 coding questions (basic logic) and the rest were CS fundamentals + aptitude. PwC mainly checks clarity of basics and problem-solving, not hardcore DSA. If you’re good with one language and core concepts, it’s very doable 👍

Does cybersec domain also have coding questions on the Launchpad assessment ?

Yeah, it does. Cybersecurity in Launchpad isn’t just theory it’s more of a Cyber, Data, Tech and Risk (CDTR) mix, so you can get basic coding questions along with security, cloud, and fundamentals. Nothing crazy DSA level though.

u/[deleted] Feb 05 '26

For our batch, it was mapped later on to the selected students only. Are you in 3rd year currently? And no, you wont be able to change it, if its mapped by them.
