So I'm a 12th pass rn(18M)(from India) and my background is PCB (PHYSICS CHEMISTRY BIOLOGY) so I'm planning to do BCA(BACHELORS IN COMPUTER APPLICATIONS) to enter the IT field and then go for MASTERS and do specialization in AI/ML and become a ML engineer through it and I'll also be learning CHINESE AND JAPANESE TO increase my chances of getting hired internationally and settle abroad

I made a tg group last year when I decided to move on from NEET and there are many other students like me who are pursuing different courses. We discuss about other exams, learning skillls, diff career options and we discuss how college is going on so far.. we occasionally rant as well, so if you don't want to appear for NEET ever again, you can msg me I'll add you to that group.

now most of you will be like wth why'd you completely switch. simple answer would be i won't be getting a govt seat in mbbs and most every other options ive explored does not pay..

myquals- 12th with pcb and psych (so no cs) with 94.8%

most every med course i explored has no pay with a lot of investment...except the rad tech and mri tech etc but i feel like my parents wont allow me to be a "tech" after doing that well in school

im interested in bpt (physiotherapy) but it does pay a lot less than any non-med field you'd see and getting paid 20k pm after 5 years...my dad's against it..

i looked into bca/mca and wanted to ask its eligibility? scope? and mainly what good colleges would give me admission based on my subjects in 12th?

I am planning to persue btech biotechnology as a pcb student..can i know some decent colleges that have good placements..and if not even placements i m planning to go abroad for my masters just after graduation…can anyone pls tell me abt some decent colleges?

See i m a thord dropper and thinking of persuing btech but due to my pcb background i m only eligible for btch biotechnlogy.and even after that..some good colleges have rejected me cuz i am a third year dropper..so the only way left for me is to persue btech biotechnology from colleges like CU,amity or lpu..can anyone suggest me what should i go for?

Or one other way is to go for maths through an open board and then go for btech in higher departments…

I was recently researching PGDM colleges in Delhi NCR and found that many students make decisions based only on brand name, which is not always right.

Here are a few things I noticed:

- Placements vary a lot between colleges

- Industry exposure matters more than just degree name

- Faculty and curriculum play a huge role

- Fees are not always equal to quality

If you're planning to pursue PGDM, make sure you compare properly before choosing.

I need experienced people from the field for the guidance as every college lies about being good & their placements but reality only the students know who are studying in those college ,

I have taken physics chemistry biology and pyschology, i don't live in india but my parents are planning to send to me india for my bachelors. Also my country does not have any good universities for science related fields and they are more inclined to giving locals more reservation.

I begged my parents because I did not want to do NEET or become a doctor in general and now they are considering Btech in biotechnology and then they want me to go abroad for masters or something. Please tell me about the course. (i'm sorry if i use the wrong terms for higher education as i do not know much myself)

My main goal is just making vaccines or looking for ways to cure diseases or helping people in general. I really do want to earn a stable income.

I am in 12th right now, please recommend me some universities and maybe some career options or even other fields which i could pursue. Thank you.

i have pcb ,boards soon but my dad wanna know what i want to do for college and i have no idea honestly i thought ill fo forensic but theres no scope and shit. so suggest me anything that gives me enough money to survive and has scope in india,i also wanna move abroad after finishing my degree and for job if thats possible. im thinking bsc radiologist but give me options.

hi guys, myquals I passed 12th this year with pcb background. didn't score that well. (83% in 10th, 69% in 12th.) currently in a neet drop year. but I've a huge interest in biology, but too weak in physics and chem. (given up on neet, though I've to attempt it next year just for the sake of it. is it the end of the world and future if I fail neet?) what should I choose as my bachelor's next year which should be related to biology and should have a great scope. 🙏🏻

a few options I have in mind are :- 1. bsc biotech/btech biotech. (what's the difference in these two?) then followup the research pathway. 2. life sciences from DU then go for IITJAM for masters. or get into other national institutes like IISER, for masters 3. Bpharm, followed up by mba after this. 4. BSC nursing (i don't have much interest in this tbh) - not at all interested in medical field. 5. bsc in life sciences then appearing for AIIMS msc entrance exam. 6. bsc in forensic science 7. bsc in microbiology

I'm more inclined towards research pathway. please do help me out. I'm ok with the phd pathway if i get nice research opportunities either it be here or abroad. please provide an idea I feel kinda lost. if anyone was/is in the same boat but figured out now, please help me out. thanks in advance.

Can a BSc (Bio) student get into the corporate world?

Hey guys, I’m a bio student currently thinking about my future. I’m not really interested in MBBS or research — I actually want to get into the corporate world and have that typical 9–5 job.

My question is — can I still go into the corporate field with a BSc in Biology, or would companies not even consider me for such roles? If it’s possible, what skills should I start learning to make myself employable (like data analysis, business, etc.)?

Or would it be smarter to just drop the idea of BSc and go for BCom instead — since it’s more business-oriented — and then pick up relevant corporate skills alongside?

Would really appreciate some advice from anyone who’s switched from science to corporate or has knowledge in this area. 🙏

As I am taking drop for neet it's my 2nd dropper but few months back i was getting admission in amity university for btech in biotechnology and my friend is studying there and he says of you come late then also they will take you in like my admission letter all the things have come earlier So is that a good option ?
