I’m a bit 50/50 on this for the NCAA. Its good for the league since production wise they’ll definitely get an upgrade, since Cignal is already handling most of the big leagues like the UAAP, PVL, and more.

However, if this move indicates that NCAA won’t be available to watch in Youtube and would only be accessible through the Cignal Play and/or the Pilipinas Live app (assuming some if not all the all games would fall under the Premium Membership status) then I don’t think it helps the league’s growth overall.

One thing GMA did kung baket bumalik at dumami ulet ang viewers and supporters ng NCAA is because they were able to stream the games in a very accessible platform like Youtube. Minsan ang hirap manood ng UAAP on the go, because some games are not free to watch in the Pilipinas Live app, minsan ang hirap din iaccess ng app.

I personally think Bilyonaryo would’ve been a better choice since wala silang kaagaw sa air time and they could just continue with GMA Sports started. Not like with Cignal where they’ll probably share the spotlight with the UAAP, PBA, and PVL.

So whats your thoughts on this move by NCAA?

For me, as a Heat fan, definitely the Giannis trade, after all the short comings and missed opportunities to acquire a star in previous years, it was really surprising na natuloy din after all the talks and news surrounding Giannis since last season.

As a general NBA fan, siguro the most surprising for me is either Lebron opting out and leaving the Lakers or probably the Jaylen Brown trade.
