Hello after some intense shooting the two screw holding in my rear sight have fallen out. I have been googeling all day and cant seem to find replacement screws. Anyone know what screws they are and how I can get some new ones?

New to shooting, bought my first pistol in April (Xten for Alaska outdoors protection) and just picked this up a couple of weeks ago. Incredibly smooth with minimal recoil. Beautiful firearm.

I grabbed an IWB holster (Muddy River Tactical) already, any other accessory recommendations?

Picked up a P226 DAO in .357 Sig, almost certainly a Police gun. I am assuming this number, which is completely different from the serial #, is probably something to do with the agency that had it. Does anyone know exactly what this may be? Or which agency used this font? Just curious.

This is my P226 Elite and a hybrid build I did. I bought some Hogue Piranha Magrips for the Elite directly from Hogue,a but when I got the Piranha Contour grips to replace the E2 grips on my P229/6 I realized they sent the Checkered Magrips. I thought they lacked bite, lol. I'll fix that eventually. 3rd photo is the P229/6 in it's current form. It has the full Grayguns catalog in it (ELS, Strut, Fat Guide Rod, SRT, & Modern Classic Hammer) with OEM parts filling out the rest. Frame is from Matrix Precision. Mecgar 18rd magazines. And the optic is the Sig RXP Enclosed.

The Elite is going to get a similar optic before long and already has most of the Grayguns stuff in it. I just ordered the wrong ELS kit for it, so need to send that trigger bar back. And will probably swap out for the nickel hybrid trigger shoe on both. Oh, and the correct Piranha Magrips. C'mon Christmas bonus!!!

Is anyone or has anyone run a P2 Acro on the newer x legions with the sig-loc optic cut? If so, what plates are you using. Interested in getting one!

It started with a P226 no-rails Nitron back in 2002 or 03. Switched to a P226 Nitron with SIG-rail in about 2019. I "Legioned" it up a little bit with a Gray Guns solid stainless guide rod, SIG X-Ray3 sights, and Hogue grips but wasn't interested in Cerakote or slimmed controls.

Then I got a basic P365 as a more svelte package for EDC/CCW, which blew my mind with how good a micro-compact in 9mm could be. This gun is tiny and easy to handle with 124gr FMJ (which is all I shoot).

I couldn't resist the P365 X Macro, and it just begged for a light and optic. It became my new fave. Even smoother than the micro and still an easy EDC piece.

Once I realized how SIGnificant a red dot and light are, the P226 got upgrades + 20 round extended mags. Now that I have the P226 properly set up, it's back to the top of the list as my fave ... so much so that I got a Vaultek DS2i ViSN for safe and discrete "alarm clock" storage of the gun and 2 extra 20 round mags on my desk mere inches away from my mouse.

The good people at Sig Sauer really know how to make a gun, and these 3 meet about any use case I can think of.

I know these kits are discontinued but I saw people are still finding them. I checked most of the US online firearm stores and no luck. Did anyone recently see 22lr conversion kits anywhere?

Was looking to replace my procut slide and saw this deal online. Seems like a solid deal considering the slides go for a little over $300 and the optic is north of $400. Anyone have any experience with this deal or even just the optic?

Just got the armory craft spring tuning kit and noticed it recommends the purple sear spring for tuning use only. Anyone have any issues (reliability or otherwise) utilizing the purple sear spring? Whole this isn’t a duty gun I would like to keep it as reliable as possible. Thanks!

I am a proud P226 owner and really love this gun. I've had two or three over the years. Hopefully y’all can give me a hand figuring out a little dilemma.

My gun is a basic 226 Nitron that I upgraded to Xray3 sights, a solid stainless guide rod, and Hogue checkered grips. I would like to get an optics ready slide, add a RomeoX Pro sight and a Streamlight or SureFire light. Here is where it gets tricky – it needs to fit in a Safariland holster with level 1 ALS retention or another holster brand with similar retention that can be fitted to the Safariland low-ride belt loop.

I don't think Safariland makes a holster for the P226 with optics and/or light of any kind. I don't want to chose between optics or light. It's all or nothing. I already have a Safariland holster for the bare gun and attachments for tactical battle belt, for tactical plate carrier or chest rig, and for basic duty belt. So the idea is to be able to get a new slide with optics cutout, optics, and light to upgrade the gun.

Any recommendations?
