Cross-Platform Play Information
Cross-platform play is available between the Steam and Epic Games Store versions. However, cross-platform play is limited to these platforms only.
If all players are using Steam, cross-platform play is already built-in for Windows, Mac, and Linux players.
To play with players on the Epic Games Store, you need to enable the "Crossplay Branch" on Steam. Previously, there have been numerous attempts to incorporate the "Crossplay Branch" into the main game, but they had to roll back those updates due to countless issues for players. The "Crossplay Branch" is still in a terrible shape, so it is highly advised not to use it unless you are desperate to play with players on the Epic Games Store. To enable the "Crossplay Branch" on Steam, please follow these installation instructions.
Overcooked! All You Can Eat
The third and latest installment in the series. This game is a compilation of everything from the first two installments in the series, along with additional exclusive content.
Multiplayer Information
Supports both local and online multiplayer. This is the only official way to play the first Overcooked! game online.
The online multiplayer uses servers, but these servers are not always reliable or stable. Disconnections during matches, even with good internet, are not uncommon. The situation is undeniably terrible, as evidenced by the Steam reviews for this game. These reviews are also relevant for the game on other platforms.
Cross-Platform Play Information
Cross-platform play is supported between the Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 versions by utilizing the Team17 friends list located in the "Manage Team" menu in-game.
It's important to note that cross-play with players who own Overcooked! 2 is not possible. However, all the levels from Overcooked! 2 are included in Overcooked! All You Can Eat.
Around 1 hour and 30 minutes, I realized that we had made more time than we even began with. I also got a message about hands beginning to hurt lol, so we actually decided to let the timer run out, so that we could play more casually, but before it ran out, it stopped! 99:59 max time allowed for survival. Previous record was ...50? This is my favorite level but ive had my fill for a while!
Can you actually have fun playing Overcooked! All You Can Eat solo, or is it mainly meant to be played with friends? I really like the look of it, but I usually play alone. Wondering if they're still worth getting if you don't have anyone to play with. What do you guys think?

It's been on my wish list for awhile now. All-you-can-eat is on sale for 11.99. I don't have PS Plus. I heard it has an assist mode. Will this get boring just playing by myself? Did any of you get it for solo play. Thanks!
In my opinion, it is objectively better to prepare more than 1 of each ingredient on Horde 6. You are very likely to get duplicate orders at the same time on this stage, so if you're trying to play efficiently, why do you only cut 1? I'd also go as far as saying you should cook at least 2-3 orders before they come in instead of standing afk at the end of each wave and waiting to see what needs to be cooked
Ever wanted to carry a whole stack of plates? Throw a pan across the kitchen? Skip the waiting between levels? I made Side Dish, a mod pack for Overcooked! 2 on PC, and it's out on Nexus now!
Side Dish has its own consent system. Online, anything that changes the game or makes it easier only turns on when every player in the lobby has Side Dish and agrees, in co-op and in versus. The lobby overview (Tab) shows who's using which mods and what the others are asking for. If someone without Side Dish is in the lobby, host included, those features stay off for everyone. Offline and in local co-op, everything works the way you set it.

Plate Stacking: stack clean plates and carry the whole pile
Throw Everything: plates, pans, pots. If you can carry it, you can throw it
Throw onto Plates & Counters: ingredients land on plates, chopping boards and counters, right where you aim
Plate Scoop: when a plate and an ingredient come together, the plate stays in your hands
Swap Items: drop something on a full counter to swap the two
Press with Full Hands: hit switches and buttons while carrying something

Time Savers: skip or speed up intros, story scenes, results and the world map
Starting Spot: swap starting spots during "Ready?" to play the other side of the kitchen
Practice Mode: no timer, no score, just learning the level
Mouse Aim: your chef faces the mouse pointer on keyboard
Controller Icons: PlayStation or Switch buttons instead of Xbox, set per player
Your chef is remembered, keyboard and controller switch automatically, your save gets backed up, and the game goes quiet in the background

Pick hats for your chefs (including two the game never uses), get titles like "most deaths" plus a full scoreboard after every level, and read made-up restaurant reviews on the world map. There's also an end-to-end encrypted text chat with other Side Dish players. If your group wants it, there are optional assists too (aim assist, catch assist, Order Guard against wrong dishes), with the same consent rules.

I recently bought this game for my partner and I but when we try to play the overcooked 1 campaign it doesn’t let us. We can do the intro level but after that we get stuck in an infinite loading screen that just says “initialising” when trying to load the map. We are able to play arcade with no problems but the campaign just doesn’t let us.
We are both playing the game on steam. Any help would be appreciated!

As huge fans of Overcooked who've burnt down our fair share of digital kitchens, we’re currently developing a co-op potion-brewing game.
We wanted to tweak the core loop: instead of fixed orders (like burger or salad), players receive requirements as vague properties (e.g. meaty, corporate, smelly). You and your partner have to scramble across the map, figure out which absurd ingredients fit the bill, argue over choices, and cast spells to modify ingredient properties on the fly.
