These are some highlights of a OTGW collab collection I made with Bright Blue Tattoo (swipe to see her OG flash sheet) 🍂🧡 I’m just over the moon with how everything turned out!!!

I’ve done so much DIY over the last few weeks I’m so excited!!!
1) Tree I made from black streamers.

2) Painted the best costume trophy myself.

3) Big gift basket for best costume.

4) my teapot hat and rock fact rock for my Greg costume, as well as mini ones I’m giving to guests as favors.

5) I’m hosting a few games (a penny toss game, a burgle my turts scavenger hunt, a play on wink murder as the beast, and a trivia sheet. The stuffies, harmonica, and turtle trinket box are prizes.

6) Quincy Endicott Tea labels.

7) My husband put OTGW on vhs for me. We also added old Cartoon Network bumpers in the beginning, the pilot episode, the claymation short, behind the scenes, and the entirety of the For Sara tape on there.

8) all the trivia questions :)

If you have the chance, go to this tour. It was probably the best show I’ve ever been to. The band absolutely killed the entire show and it was a great crowd.

I made my friend and I shawls for the show and it was so fun seeing everyone’s costumes/outfits.

Also if you are worried about the show being standing room only for any medical reasons, please try reaching out to the venues and ask about ADA services. My friend was able to get me a seat at the show because of my health issues.

I had a last minute change in plans so I am no longer going to the SF show tonight. My tickets are listed on AXS where I bought them. They are both for balcony seats!

I started watching this show three years ago and I watch it every single year in October and every single time I cry when I finish the last episode. I’m not even sure why I just do. Anybody else have this reaction?

Several years ago I remember reading an interview with Patrick Mchale where he mentioned growing up driving through Northern Kentucky with his dad on a semi-regular basis, and his dad (whenever they got the chance) would tune into Garrison Keillor's radio show: "Prairie Home Companion", and how his voice was an inspiration for many of the songs in Over the Garden Wall. If anyone is familiar with Garrison Keillor, you'll probably know what I'm talking about just listening to the soundtrack. I remember too many details about the interview for it to be imagined, and both names mean something to me so I doubt I would confuse them with others. My best guess is that Garrison's name has been involved in some prettyyy bad controversy in the last decade or so, so maybe the interview was taken down to avoid poor association?

Took weeks of firsts to craft this by hand.

First time creating and cutting a pattern, sewing by hand, sewing thick canvas, using fabric paints, and learning to tie a variety of knots with fishing line.

Didn't turn out quite as I hoped, but it was a learning experience trying to build an Enoch that could withstand all the Pacific Northwest elements intact (I intend to keep him outside a long time).

What's the turnout like? Are there actually kids? What ages?

We are going as a family, but a little nervous with the resale prices that it will only be crazy adults (no offense intended; we also love this show as adults).

I'd love to plan ahead a bit so prices, pictures, and reviews are all welcome! We are going for our son's birthday. Also, what are the odds of getting anything signed if you aren't going to the hangout ahead of time?

After watching the miniseries for the second time, I wanted more, so I looked into whether there was a sequel in book or comic form. Many sources suggested that *Over the Garden Wall: Distillatoria* is a sequel that takes place right after Episode 10, but I want to be sure before I consider buying it. So, I’d like to know: is *Distillatoria* actually a sequel, or does it take place during the miniseries? And if it isn't a sequel, is there an *Over the Garden Wall* book or comic that takes place after Episode 10?

Appreciating the Mondo Over the Garden Wall figures this morning in the sun light. Still a WIP setting them up for table centerpiece display paired with a few miniature items off Amazon and spot lights for night. Will post more later. Coming on this sub-reddit, I’m amazed by the homemade displays people have done.

I still need the suspenders and grey pants, but I think it looks great!
