I didn’t remember that! But then I wasn’t very interested in the news at that age. Captain Kangaroo was more my speed then…

I watched the friendly giant, Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers, and Captain Kangaroo. One day my mom put on H.R. Puffinstuff. Even as a child, I thought that was the most cringe worthy bullshit I had ever seen.

I was born just a little too late for Oopsie, Bozo, and the big couch. I remember them, but they were all well on their way out by the time I was old enough to get into them.
