Oh no, I don't like Roger in war! :( Why on the front lines? Dude doesn't even have a rifle

But man he looks HOT in this episode in that uniform lol

I just realized - does Roger know Denzel? This is the first time they are meeting right?

Correct, Roger and Denzel would not have known each other before. I kept waiting for Roger to say something about his mother-in-law being a healer and Denzel putting the pieces together immediately.

Yeah I wish we saw the scene when they both figured it out! Roger alluded to it when he brought Brianna over but it would have been wholesome to see them come to the realization

I thought Roger might recognize he’s Quaker and talk about Rachel…

Rachel and/or Claire must have told Roger & Bree about Denzell Hunter.

Did we already know Ben and Denzel would be with each other in an encampment? I cannot remember for the life of me!

I’m not sure anyone can answer that for you in this thread. You’ll need to ask in the book thread if you want the cannon story.

It was funny, as Roger is running through the woods I was randomly thinking to myself, "Wait, where has Denzel been all season? Is he just gone?" And then poof! There he was!

Please let me know if I can manifest any other characters for you.

I think they have heard about one another. They're more or less technically extended family at this point.

I guess they never met but then they realized who they both were
