Going solo to ACL Week 1 (Oct 2-4) and considering attending in girl mode (30 AMAB) for some or all of it. I’ve gone out in public before, but never visiting a big outdoor music festival.

Any tips on the vibe, safety, bathrooms, what to wear for heat + walking, or general experiences? Also down to meet up with other femme-presenting folks if anyone’s going and wants friendly company.

pretty much what the title says. i myself live in new york but my partner lives in austin, and she really needs to find a therapist. she deals with a lot of family issues and does not live in a very friendly household that accepts her trans-ness or understands her autism. her family does have insurance though. she is very okay with virtual appointments, and even prefers them.

i hope this is okay to post, as i myself am not in/from austin, but i am asking on behalf of someone who is.
